Do You See What I See?
What DO you see?

National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice,
seen through a West Wing window
as she takes questions from the media Monday.
By Charles Dharapak, AP

Yes, this AP photo within an article today in USA TODAY can be viewed as
Condi standing inside the White House, which of course is exactly where
she is. And that is exactly how I saw it - at first and for a few seconds. Then,
as I let my eyes stay focused on her facial _expression, I felt the negativity
emanating from her.

Okay, who wouldn't be feeling negative energy while being grilled by the
media in light of the pickle, in which, she and her bosses are at the moment.
And now they have this recent addition to their self-inflicted conundrum,
since former aide Richard Clarke’s tell-all book hit the shelves in bookstores
today all across the country.

Actually, my first reaction was that she looked very much like the creature
who floats around in among the crowd in Mel Gibson’s new movie. Or, the
creature we have all thought we saw in the dark of night when we were
children. I felt the evil coming from Condi!

Then, I chose to skip the intangible and move on to my next reaction of this
basically common photo. That is to say, photographers have been filming
from outside White House windows probably ever since the camera was

Now I see the white painted wooden framing of the windowpanes, which are
blurred due to the camera focus set to get a clear shot of Condi. They then
became BARS as in prison cell bars. I wondered to myself if I was having
a “foreshadowing? experience. “Foreshadowings?, as you know, are subtle
hints of things to come, used frequently in mystery stories and suspenseful

It’s really not personal to Condi. It's just business; OUR COUNTRYS’ business,
that gives me the opinion that Condi, among so many others of her partners
in crime, need to be put into prison. If that fate befalls them, certainly then, all
future photos of Bush’s token female Nubian would indeed be taken from out
side the “bars? of her prison cell.

Well, we will know eventually whether I saw a foreshadowing or not.
Unless, perish the thought, Bushboy “wins? again in November.
