MEMORIES

It
has been said, and I don't know who said it first, that
Americans
have short memories. While this is
unfortunately true of many of us, it is
not an all encompassing truth. Some of us have total recall.
Others have vivid
memories of at least major life events.
September
11, 2001 certainly qualifies for that category! Some major
"life" events are bad enough to bring painful
memories. "Death"
events, will never be forgotten.
I
want to also include the importance of remembering major
positive
events, just for balance. It is those positive events that can
help us
keep on going when we are enmeshed in a present hard time. As
I
used to tell my children, "Remember each
GOOD
day when
the bad
days come along. It will help carry you through the negative
cycle."
I explained too, that if you look back in time, you will see
that every
thing does come around again; the very good, the not so good,
the bad,
and the very bad times.
Remembering September 11, 2001
There are those who were in the towers who escaped with
their lives,
but many with serious injuries and long months of recovery. Some
who
will never be able to regain total recovery will never forget
that day.
The friends and families of these victims will also always
remember it.
There are those who loved ones died in those towers who also can
never
forget that day. Everyday
since 9-11-01, the missing family member or
friend is a constant reminder to the survivors, the
families and the friends
of those who died.
But,
there are also those who have gone into denial, preferring it,
perhaps
in self-preservation from the pain of recalling those horrifying
films played
over and over on most TV stations. As
most of us know, they were played
daily for the remaining months of 2001 and now it has stretched
into years,
when the TV stations pull up those films and assemble panels to
talk about
it all over again, each year, as time approaches the anniversary
date.
I
was 22 years old on Nov. 22, 1963
and I remember with total agonizing clarity the the moment
I learned our
President had been shot and was dead. For weeks the TV stations
showed
nothing else but first the assassination films, then Oswald and
Ruby shooting
him, and then the funeral of JFK, the horseless rider walking
beside the
horse drawn carriage that slowly drove to the capital building.
I
remember watching Jackie, Caroline and little John-John and all
of the
other Kennedys, stoically going through their private grief in
full view of the
whole world. And, I saw the endless films of people weeping all
across
America and around the world.
But,
the WTC disaster involved the deaths and injuries to thousands
of people
not just one man, as shocking and
tragic as it was. And, for me, this seems to
be all the more reason to be asking what
really happened on 9-11-01.
Some
of us are content believing the "official" government
story, which defies
common sense. (Just as some chose to believe the Warren
Commission Report
on the JFK murder, which we now know was totally fabricated.)
The
engineering experts presented sold proof and they had no
doubt then and
still have no doubt now that the planes crashing
into the WTC were not damaging
enough to bring the towers down into total rubble.
Also,
the "official" story by our government defies
testimonies by firemen who
said that they had put the fire out BEFORE the sudden
total collapse of the entire
buildings. And even told WTC
workers it was safe to remain in the building then.
Watch
those films, shown on TV again, of the towers suddenly crumbling
down.
See how much LOWER down the buildings from the
floors affected by the planes
entering, that
the crumbling begins. You can clearly see that the towers begin
to
implode several floors below the floors damaged by the planes.
Have
you ever watched the prepared demolitions of buildings shown for
years
on TV? They come straight down,
with most of the building falling inward, as it
crumbles downward, exactly as the towers did. Only immediately
after the two
planes entered the buildings did debris fly out
from the building.
Let's
not forget the small
hole in the Pentagon either.
And the total lack of any
debris that would indicate that
humans and their belongings had been on board.
Try
to find those picture again showing the INSIDE of the
Pentagon and the
small amount of parts supposedly
from the airliner highjacked and deliberately
flown into the building.
Doesn't
your mind wonder how
this could have been the
plane we were told it was?
Doesn't your mind wonder how
the WTC could implode starting from several floors
below the impacts of the two planes....and long after
firemen had announced the fires were put out and
even assuring the WTC workers that the building
was safe for them to stay in?

And he continued to SIT for nearly half an hour!
Why did Bush just sit there?
This is only a rhetorical
"why" because some of us KNOW the answer.
Would ANY past President have just sat there? Can you name
"ONE"?
