Say, how much does linking to pictures tax the server? Say if someone were to directly link to a gallery picture onto another site?

If ya wanna link a gallery pic, try hosting in on photosite or something, then linking it from there. That will help a bit.

linking from another site shouldn't affect us at all. Eventually I'm going to farm out some of the pics that i host on the main site to another host, just to make the site load faster.

If I am reading max's question right, he's saying what would it do if he links from YOUR gallery pictures to another site. I was under the impression that that would pull your speed down.
