Like that is going to happen. Democrats ain't going to do shit except to cover their own political ass. In fact, you'll be lucky if they don't join the Republicans in this.

I know, its sad AFW that anyone is allowing the government to claim those that speak against it are helping terrorism.

"Dissent helps terrorism" is the first step of a very short walk to "dissent is terrorism." Property damage that results from any anti-government display can now be legally construed as an act of terror. Patriot Act. It's the law right now.

So is this the reason the Demos dont speak out anymore, because they realize they signed over the American citizens as bitchs to the Neo-Cons?

Patriotism helps terrorism thrive?
WTF DOES THAT MEAN?
If it's dissent to the US Republican Party line, then their vein attempt at fear mongering is no different than those oppressive, dictatorships that the US Republican Party wishes to dominate and overthrow. I mean, come on. If John McCain can denounce some twenty somethings as incapable of free thought and ergo not capable of sound opinion, and the rest of the US Republican Party adopts that same principle, the principle that says your voice and opinion mean nothing to what we say and we'll do anything to silence you, be it public embarrassment, hijack of vote systems, ownership of the media, or the selling of favors, then their stance no different than any other Tyrannical, Oppressive, Demonstrative Government that they too wish to conquer.
They have become what they loath.
In a Bushwellian time and age, Patriotism is measured by allegiance to the leader and his causes.
However, I do not accept their new premise.
Thomas Jefferson would spit on them.

Yeah, you know if I was bin Laden or the Iranians, there would be NO greater victory for me than to have people with absolutely no political power criticize the leader of their country. I mean, that's WAY better than getting some fancy new weapons, getting them to withdraw from the Middle East, or achieving my own fundamentalist goals in my home country. I would gladly give up the opportunity to realize my world view if only I could get more entertainers to stand up to Bush. That would really make my day.
