In other words, it doesn't matter who the figure head is.
If we don't stop these sombitches, the heads of policy will remain, even if Bush is gone.

Bush will give up power. He will have already done all get away with by that time (and he can get away with a hell of a lot, considering the backbone of his supposed "opposition"), and will have served his purpose. The Republicans will have a new candidate and probably he wil win the Presidency, to take over where Bush left off.

And let me take this opportunity to take another well-deserved jab at the Democrats:

Unless the Democratic Party decides to get smart and embrace their base rather than choosing an indecisive lukewarm, politically correct candidate who pleases no one in trying to please everyone (ala John Kerry), they will once again be sitting on the sidelines watching as the Republicans continue their control of the government. If the Democrats keep fucking up, they will marginalize themselves out of existance. Considering some of the big name Democrats, that might not be such a bad thing. I have complete faith in the Democrats to not learn anything from their mistakes and to continue on the path they are on.

I agree AFW, humans will naturally follow those that lead and its doesnt really matter where they are being lead to.
