WORLD CAN’T WAIT
DRIVE OUT THE BUSH REGIME!

YOUR GOVERNMENT, on the basis of outrageous lies, is waging a murderous and utterly illegitimate war in Iraq, with other countries in their sights.
YOUR GOVERNMENT is openly torturing people, and justifying it.
YOUR GOVERNMENT puts people in jail on the merest suspicion, refusing them lawyers, and either holding them indefinitely or deporting them in the dead of night.
YOUR GOVERNMENT is moving each day closer to a theocracy, where a narrow and hateful brand of Christian fundamentalism will rule.
YOUR GOVERNMENT suppresses the science that doesn't fit its religious, political and economic agenda, forcing present and future generations to pay a terrible price.
YOUR GOVERNMENT is moving to deny women here, and all over the world, the right to birth control and abortion.
YOUR GOVERNMENT enforces a culture of greed, bigotry, intolerance and ignorance.

People look at all this and think of Hitler—and they are right to do so. The Bush regime is setting out to radically remake society very quickly, in a fascist way, and for generations to come. We must act now; the future is in the balance.

Millions and millions are deeply disturbed and outraged by this. They recognize the need for a vehicle to express this outrage, yet they cannot find it; politics as usual cannot meet the enormity of the challenge, and people sense this.

There is not going to be some magical "pendulum swing." People who steal elections and believe they're on a "mission from God" will not go without a fight. There is not going to be some savior from the Democratic Party. This whole idea of putting our hopes and energies into "leaders" who tell us to
seek common ground with fascists and religious fanatics is proving every day to be a disaster, and actually serves to demobilize people.

But silence and paralysis are NOT acceptable. That which you will not resist and mobilize to stop, you will learn—or be forced—to accept. There is no escaping it: the whole disastrous course of this Bush regime must be STOPPED. And we must take the responsibility to do it.

And there is a way. We are talking about something on a scale that can really make a huge change in this country and in the world. We need more than fighting Bush's outrages one at a time, constantly losing ground to the whole onslaught. We must, and can, aim to create a political situation where the
Bush regime's program is repudiated, where Bush himself is driven from office, and where the whole direction he has been taking society is reversed. We, in our millions, must and can take responsibility to change the course of history.

Acting in this way, we join with and give support and heart to people all over the globe who so urgently need and want this regime to be stopped.

This will not be easy. If we speak the truth, they will try to silence us. If we act, they will try to stop us. But we speak for the majority, here and around the world, and as we get this going we are going to reach out to the people who have been so badly fooled by Bush and we are NOT going to stop.

The point is this: history is full of examples where people who had right on their side fought against tremendous odds and were victorious. And it is also full of examples of people passively hoping to wait it out, only to get swallowed up by a horror beyond what they ever imagined.

THE FUTURE IS UNWRITTEN. WHICH ONE WE GET IS UP TO US.

I have already written Senators and Congressmen that are true Patriots and have encouraged them to remain steadfast in the American value of Liberty and Justice FOR ALL. I've reiterated to the their role in this Democratic Republic, their elected voice and the responsibility that that brings. I've also asserted to these same Senators and Congressmen, that it is because of the acquiesces of the remaining members, Republicans and Democrats, to the wishes of this Administration and not to the Constitutional responsibility their Oath that compels them to obey the Constitution, that those remaining members are acting in collusion with this Administration. That I hold them accountable for allowing the president and his cohorts to consistently break the law. War or no war. The law of the land is to be enforced by our lawmakers, the legislators, the people's representatives, when it is to be applied to the Executive Branch. And that because of the Administrations involvement in treasonous behavior, that Congress too are just as culpable in the treachery itself.

Remember, it is the law makers, our legislators, the people's representatives and Congressmen that shape this government, not the president alone. We are a Nation of laws that ultimately determines what kind of country we will be. These laws are made by those very people, and not the president. He may influence the shaping and direction of the law. He may even attempt to write law, himself, by circumventing Congress, the law makers, the people's voices in Congress. However, it is they, those representatives that ultimately must decide where to draw the line. It is they, if allowed to go unchecked for too long by the people, that are treasonous to America.

Nice post, and yes, sometimes I see the need for incidiary speech to light up the sheeple.

I dont espouse violent anything, but do believe we need to speak up en masse, protest and get off our cozy asses and be the voice of change!

Really there is not much we can do.
We can write to the true patriotic politicians but odds are they are already trying to stop the Bush administrations injustice.
We can make websites like this and discuss the problems with the war in the middle east but it won't do much.
We can try and expose the truth to the mainstream media but it will eventually be censored.
We can protest on the streets but nowadays even the most peaceful protest is fought with violence, and if they aren't it doesn't really matter because the administration knows the public wants the wars to stop.
We can tell people on the streets what we think of Bush but according to the polls The Bush Administration is at an alltime low.

I am not from USA but I live in Toronto and I think Stephen Harper is just as bad as Bush and it makes me uneasy.

Can't we just impeach Bush? We impeached Clinton for adultery.. Can we not impeach Bush for mass murder, or for sending the Bin Ladens home after the initial 911 attacks atleast.

The fact of the matter is we would never have the proper votes because Bush has probably thrown money at everybody necessary
Gadzooks!
No, you obviously don't understand. Blowjobs are evil and wicked, but mass murder and lying to the entire nation while looting its coffers for personal gain is OK here in the US. We are a nation built upon family values. Which family? Corleone, maybe.

That is what Capitalism is all about! Dont you just love how it has created such a individualistic society for us? I just love our togetherness.

If the US public really cared and were really outraged they would be doing something about it. Not many are, and the rest deserve all they get. They believe what they want, preferring the illusion (u-s-a, u-s-a!) and heading for the ice cream when something bad happens.

Well the US was a nation founded by a buncha european slave owners who said all men are equal. It is also a nation founded on War.
Since the end of the the Cold War and the Nuclear Arms Race the US and Russia both have enough Nuclear weapons to blow us all up.
The US is now the ultimate super power because no other super powers in history have had the power of nuclear weaponry. the
With Nuclear weapons the US doesnt need to take over land like the great empires of the past did. All they need to do is give fear and offer themselves as the solution to the fear. Blame it on whatever they can using propaganda. Blame it on the Taliban and convince that Saddam might be involved and the NKorea and Iran are also part of this "Axis of Evil". Then once they remove the problem throw a capitalist government in there.

After 911 everyone was paranoid and scared. Especially a country like the US who although the US has had a lot of experience with war in history there hasn't been an attack on US soil since WW2 and that was atleast during a world war; not so randomly in such a highly populated area.
Then the government told us who did it and made it seem like they were intent on fighting the supporters of Al Qaeda and this supposed "Axis of Evil" to reasssure us.
When really the war in Iraq had less to do with Al Qaeda then they themselves do. Iraq did not have WMD's like the Bush Administration was so sure of, and even though the UN weapons inspectors took a look around the US invaded without a lot of warning. After the truth has been exposed, and we find out that Iraq wasn't an imminent threat and that this war has turned into another Vietnam they tell us....hey atleast we got Saddam. Good job you captured a dictator who wasn't an imminent threat for the price of thousands of innocent US troops and Iraqi civilians. Good Job, what about the North Korean dictator? We know North Korea actually HAS a military, but then again Iraq does have more oil and a dictator who is already known. Plus if they did have WMD's hidden what leader in there right wouldsend his troops there unprepared (even without a really powerful army Iraq was still not taken care of) to start fighting a country with this kinda weaponry. Doesnt sound like the best leadership to me.
The Administration tells us about the Taliban and how they are Harbouring Bin Laden, in Afganistan; but do not mention the Bush-Bin laden families relation together, or that they pretty much armed the Taliban during the late 80's. The tell us what they know will scare us but not the really scary part, then they move the terrorist threat rating up and down which was also very scary and after a while kinda annoying and stupid. Then they tell us we will suceed in this war againsy the axis of evil to assure us they are the good guys and Iraq, Iran, Syria, and North Korea are the bad guys. Even though most of the high jackers are Saudis but Bush is already makin oilmoney from them so I guess war there isn't necessary so we won't tell people of the various Saudi Arabian connections to the 911 attacks. We'll just point it at Hussein and anyone else they can use as a scapegoat to keep us scared.

Now I do not want to call Bush and his administration liars, but its either that or they are stupid and didn't know that it wasn't right to bring the bin ladens back home after 911, and they really did think that Iraq had WMD's and they now they think Iran has wmd's.

Was it just a coincidance that the Bin Ladens and Bushs family has done business even though the bin laden familys (supposed outcast anti-american) son is the same man who is the prime suspect? Or maybe Bin Laden was just paid to act as the scapegoat of fear and the US gave him everything he needed and a little assurance that no one in his family would be in harms way. Then they can give him time to run and say the Taliban (a group the US armed in the past) is harbouring him and they send there young usually less wealthy soldiers to fight them while Bin Laden gets away even though Bush assured us they were gonna smoke him out.
Notice how they hardly mention capturing Bin Laden anymore, maybe because they really had no intentions of catching there business partners son, so they changed the topic to Hussein and how he supported al qaeda.
I do not know the truth but this is all to strange, and one one thing we do know is that Bush made money for the Bin Ladens who paid their crazy son Osama, who used this money to bomb the wtc. After the bombing in 1993 you'd think they would've seen it coming.
Well Bush did receive reports in August but I don't blame him for taking a vacation at that time, it must be hard work to rig a federal election, not to mention the federal election of the worlds super power.
I guess a lot of family in politics and money can do anything.

I'm convinced this administration has too much to loose. They have to keep power somehow, otherwise they are prison bound as soon as we have the truth out. I see the goal of Worldcantwait is to pressure them to resign. That could happen and I pray it does. At the least I think we will call their hand.

It worked in Nepal, it can work here. By the way, the magic day is October 5, 2006
