Nice pics! I have to grow my whole garden out of window boxes and pickle buckets because my landlord will not allow gardens on his land. Go figure.

What do you do with the Rubarb?
leftinrightsouth
You can make very delicious rubarb and strawberry pies.

I like it because its a perrenial (im sure I spelled that so wrong). So it never dies. And has beautiful huge green leaves.

Not likely. I am the ninja mistress of all garden growers.

Yes, please oh please, go take a pic of that patch of dirt in your back yard. Maybe you could photoshop some of my pics on top of it to make yourself feel better.

Oh you just wait. It's uploading ringht now. You can go ahead and start collecting flattering adjectives now, but none will be adequate.

Downloading=photoshopping your pile of stinking dead dirt...its all the same thing.

Oh ya, and did I mention that I dug that garden by hand. No whimpy machine tillers for this master gardener.
I like to do it the old fashion way.

Oh ya, I also grew EVERYTHING in there from SEEDS!
Germinated them in my windows in Feb. Didn't go to the nursery and buy ready to grow plants. No siree. I am the real thing. YOu shall be shamed!
POAC
BEHOLD!

I grew two coffee cans. Can you grow coffee cans? I grew TWO! Lets see you grow some coffee cans!

Seriously though. That's some great stuff you have going on. Your basil is beautiful.

Wow, those are some pretty beautiful coffee cans.
I have not yet perfected the art of growing aluminium. (I said that the brittish way in my head). But one day, oh yes, one day!

If any body is interested in seeing ALL of my garden pics as well as other random plants I am growing, follow this link:

I am going to pout now.

I live on the second floor of a tiny apartment, so no garden for me.

You guys with houses are LUCKY. Don't forget that.

I have a small potted plant that grows near my window.

I'll take a pic later tonight and upload it.

It's not my fault you can't grow coffeee cans.

But seriously. Yours rocks and the plants look awesome. Plus, you didn't cheat and use nursery plants like we did on some.

Nice gardens, ya'all !

Tj, ya might wanna try dumping a few wheelbarrels full horse manure in the garden after harvesting this fall. We do that every third year or so. No better fertilizer than horse manure.

My camera is on the blink so I'll have to describe our garden.

Strawberries out front and out back. Rubarb in the corner. Rubarb crumb cake goes to work with me tomorrow....yummy. Two small patches of potatoes, one early, one late. All kindsa herbs. Onions, but they're looking scrawny, enbarrassing. A couple of other things I don't know what.....you can tell I wasn't involved in the planting of the garden this year.

We have two scrawny tomato plants waiting to be planted. We've waited this long because of a yearly cold spell called the "cold sophia". Parts of Germany had frost last week.

Pictures may follow, camera willing.

After The Garden

Won't need no shadow man
Runnin' the government
Won't need no stinkin' WAR
Won't need no haircut
Won't need no shoe shine

After the garden is gone
After the garden is gone
After the garden is gone

What will people do?
After the garden is gone
What will people say?
After the garden

.....

Won't need no strong man
Walkin' through the night
To live a weak man's day
Wont need no sunshine
Won't need no purple haze

After the garden is gone
After the garden is gone
After the garden is gone

Where will people go?

After the garden is gone
What will people know?

After the garden

.....

After the garden is gone
After the garden is gone
