no worries. I'm not saying we can't argue, but some folks seem to have a problem of arguing more than disussing. You are certainly not one of them.

Although I don't feel the need to apologize, as I don't think that I have gone out of my way to argue, I appreciate you bringing this up.

The sniping has come very close to running me off, and I'm fairly tenacious...I'm sure others have just given up on the site.

I was pretty shocked what banned me at two sites recently , merely posting an article about Israel's Lobby on one site, and having the "nerve" to discuss it on another! So I'm very content here that TJ sticks to banning behavior (trolling , freeping, and the POAC guidelines) rather than banning people for issues.

The way I analyze it , (if anyone cares to hear my pop '70's culture psycho-babble ), is that we were all different people before George W Bush came along with his Rasputin, Karl Rove But Karl Rove, just like Goebbels in Nazi Germany, is an evil genius in GROUP Psychology, and knows how to manipulate the masses no matter how diverse they are. So when the majority got fooled by the initial Iraq WMD lies (me included I'm afraid), that is like the majority of Americans being brainwashed! And then ever so slowly the majority of Americans start to figure out the truth, and then gradually Americans FIND the truth on the internet, then it is like a massive brainwashing turning into a massive de-programming! But keep in mind while we are going through these transitions collectively, we are also living our individual diverse lives with all our personal problems and joys. So it's like Karl Rove really screwed us up, then we had to help each other to show each other the light, and its really hard to face that you've been scammed and duped. So imagine how hard it is for MILLIONS of people to manage their everyday lives when they have to face they've been scammed and duped. And then you go to work with people who just won't face the truth at all and you can see how screwed up they are holding on to the brainwashed lies. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, we are all in different stages of between "brainwashed" and "de-programming" while at the same time dealing with our normal everyday lives.

I think all of us desperately want things to be back to "normal", whatever that word means to us prior to 9/11. But I think we are luckier than the Germans of 1930's that we have the internet to keep each other informed and aware, and that gets frustrating sometimes, because I know I just want to scream "PNAC" from the top of my lungs in the middle of the Mall sometimes. But I don't , and I think most of us don't, and that means we are bottling this frustration up. So I don't think we are as pissed at each other as we are at the situation we are in. I'm afraid I'm rambling, but it's just the weirdest time in history to me, when the people know more stuff than the journalists do, but I think it's great we try to reach out to each other to help inform our fellowmen/women
