I would take MCCain seriously if he hadn't spent the campaign doing for Bush what Monica did for Bill.

I know, I heard he wore out three pair of knee pads during the campaign....

McCain has no confidence in Rumsfeld. He just can't upstage Bush by saying any more than that.

I was thouroughly dismayed by McCain's ass kissing during the campaign. I'd like to know what's really going on. I've lost a lot of respect for him, but I think there's more than meets the eye here.

I used to have a lot of respect for McCain, until he started kissing Bush's ass, now I can't stand the man.

I agree. It's very confusing. Will the real John McCain please stand up. I can't help but think that BushCo threatened him in some manner. A seemingly upstanding person doesn't roll over like that unless put under duress. I could be wrong, but I think McCain was forced to campaign for Bush.

I like McCain when he KICKS ass; I hate him when he KISSES it. The only explanation I can think of for why he so shamelessly supported the insupportable Dubya is that someone must have threatened him. Or his wife, or their adopted daughter.

And I have a pretty good idea who, too. (Hint: He's defamed both of them before.)

Yup, I'd love to have just five minutes alone with Rove, I'd take great pleasure in kicking his chicken ass...God I hate that bastard...I really do.

Ive got no confidence in either and I was going to vote for him in 2000. McCain admitts to not likeing Bush and none of his cabinet but refuses to take a hardline stance against them and their policy I have no respect for a man who will preach his principles when they are convienent and backpeddle when they are not.

All I have to say about McCain is that if you're not part of the solution, you may as well be part of the problem. It is not the collusion of evil men we have to fear, but the apathy and silence of good men in place to stop them. Shame on you, McCain, for turning your back on the principles you claim to uphold.

That's right, if McCain stood by his convictions he'd be on Bush's ass every chance he got...but he has drank the Kool aide...
