Ok, some person from "the government" is here, asking a MILLION questions, extremely personal about a former employee. REALLY, REALLY WEIRD.

Lefty, it could be my dad. He's a PI who works on security clearance stuff. Years ago he did this same work for the Department of the Treasury.

I work at a mississippi university in the forestry department, specifically for the extension service.

It was really weird to listen to it. Asking stuff like...was she a person who would waste her money? What did she do for fun when she was off work? Do you know who her physcian was when she lived here? about 2 hours worth of questions.

Tres bizzare.

Could be as simple as a PI looking for dirt
as part of a divorce case?

Yeah, when Dad has shared the sort of questions he asks, and they ask your neighbors this stuff!, I've often thought there's no one they'd ask who would know this about me! My neighbor is doing good to remember my name. They know nothing else. Neighbors just don't really get to know each other.

But yeah lots of questions, very long.

Not a PI, was a lady from the DOD who came to question my boss about a former employee who is looking to be granted some higher level of security clearance. I don't know all the details, as that is on a need to know basis only. Hehe

Weird though. And of course, it almost made me put on my tinfoil hat at work.

Just call her Bond. Jane Bond!

And she likes it stirred, not shaken!
