INTRODUCTION:

The Social Corporatist Party of North America (US and Canada) stands for: SOCIAL TOLERANCE , CREATIVITY , SCIENTIFIC PROGRESS , RISING ABOVE NATURE , INTELLECTUALISM , GLOBAL MARKETING , COOPERATION, INDIVIDUALISM , DIVERSITY , ENLIGHTENMENT, FREEDOM , CIVIL RIGHTS , SOCIAL JUSTICE , etc.... Social Corporatism seeks to mix two economic philosophies *see above*. We as a new and enlightened ideology, oppose: JINGOISM, MILITANT NATIONALISM, CONFORMITY, REVENGE, GROUP EMOTION, SOCIAL DARWINISM, TRADITION, BIOETHICS, BIGOTRY, THEOCRACY, FUNDEMENTALISM CONSERVATISM, etc.... We see the flaw in the current establishment and seek to hold a Democratic Revolution in order to be ahead of the game. Our ultimate goal is progress, and we will do our best to move foward. We will trample all those who oppose the progress of the human race. We will defend those who are wrongly persecuted. We will defend our planet and its ability to be a living Gaia. We will do our best to try and unite our world and celebrate our differences.

ECONOMICS:

Our economics are fairly interesting as we seek to mix Socialism, Corporatism, and Capitalism all in one economic system. Like any free market system, any individual has the right to come up with an idea, patent it, and then sell it. First Generation Business will have a large sum of economic and property rights. They are privately ran, own whatever they invent, and generally don't have to worry much about political action. Third Generation (when the original founder[s] die[d]) Corporations do not share the same rights and the property is given to the work force, idea makers, scientists, and others involved with the business. The corporation itself, will become Democratic; since everyone involved votes for its officials. This is the Social part of Social Corporatism. Business can avoid this fate by two ways: 1) split up into 2 or more smaller business, since they are both new, they are both First Generation; 2) They can sell all their property and rebuy it, which would be extremely difficult and would need a new name.

CIVIL RIGHTS:

We believe in diversity and the constitutional rights of all people (including human clones and intelligent life forms [to be definded in the future]). Social Tolerance is one of the founding principles of this party, and civil rights is a goal. Each individual has the right to a pursuit of hapiness, as long as it does not infringe on the happiness of another. Every citizen has the right to the freedom of expression. Thought crime is prohibited. Scientists have a consitutional right to research & experiment and may not be prohibited unless the experiment is a danger to human welfare or the natural environment.

IDEOLOGY:

We are celebraters of tolerance, diversity, and the new age. We seek the future as well as change. We seek to overthrow the establishment and create a newer and far superior one. We support enlightenment and value scientific pursuit. We oppose established ideas of morality. We believe that the only morality is human welfare. We view all other morality as being either mythical or personal and will not legislate them into law.

WELFARE:

We support intelligent welfare programs that decrease probablity of crime and chaos. Our government will provide jobs as its form of welfare. Those who are handicapped may recieve local city welfare. Most welfare power is left to the city and local governments.

JUSTICE:

We view justice as opinionated and instead apply it to human welfare. We do not view retribution or revenge important. We do value security and the safety of our populace. Law and Order will take a role, but it'll not be based on traditionalistic moral myth.

EDUCATION:

Education is the one most important social program. Allthough private education is an option and vouchers will now be made legal: nothing is more important to us than public education. We will at least double spending towards our education system. We will teach our children to be inventive, intelligent, and enlightened. We will also teach our children to be enlightened and tolerant towards others; partly by encouraging them to play with the opposite gender, as opposed to just their own; for now on, a group without at least one girl or one boy is a lonely group. We will make quality education a Constitutional Right for all our citizens and their children.

FOREIGN:

Unlike Bush, we see the harm in disobeying International Law. We also recognize that our trade policy with the world is very much reliant on their opinion towards us. Conservatives believe that world opinion does not matter, ignoring the fact that it could affect our trading abilities. Of course this is the uneducated stance that most people take. The screw world opinion attidude decreases demand for our products. This is not good.

MILITARY:

The primary function of our military is to protect the people. We will combine the military and law enforcement into one department. We will use technology to make us more secure from terrorists. We will protect our constitutional rights in the process, and ensure the people won't fear the government any more than the government fears its own people (there may be a little of both). We oppose spying and wire taps. We also oppose militant nationalism and constant warfare. Our military will be predominately defensive for now on.

TECHNOLOGY:

We love science and technology. Both the government and corporations will fund science heavilly. We view inventing as the primary function of the human existence. We support all forms of scientific acheivement and would never get in their way. Knowledge is power, and we will weild it like a weapon.

ENVIRONMENT:

Earth is our home, we must respect it. Its what gives us life, it is our world and our island in space. We must do what we can to research clean energy, protect our wilderness, and seek clean air and clean water.

VICTORY:

We wish to acheive victory in a new fashion. We are a leftist organization and we lust to fight our battles on the corporate level. This of course is not be expected from the left. We will counter popular opinion by making more money than all of them. We will negotiate with current Capital holders and advise them that what they are doing is not in their best interest. We will make compromising and bring in as many allies as we can. We will use corporate money to campaign our ideology. There is more to this of course...

You set the bar to high.
rcorporon
Agreed.

Besides, read Marx, Lenin and Trotsky and you'll have my answer. They worded it much better than I could.

Your post kicked some ass. Ours would be much shittier, so we don't bother.

No way, you are definitely not too good. I would have to say that MM and Scorp didn't fully read what you wrote and I am going to give you, Mofos, the benefit of the doubt and say that all that you wrote is not truly what you believe.

Is what you wrote a simple illustration? Or is this your proposal for a new political party?
MasterMind
I am grading on effort and style, not content. Remeber Scorp and I are teachers.

Whats wrong with it? It sounds pretty good to me. I could in fact add even more if you like later.

I will agree that you definitely put a lot of thought into what you have said and most everything you state, I do believe in.

But there are some things I think perhaps I disagree with because of your word choice.

Explain this:

The government may not pass laws against certain thoughts. What ever only occurs in the mind must always be legal. Thats what I meant.

Great. That makes me feel much better about what you have written and I concur with MM and Scorp, you've done a great job.

I would suggest, though, to reword that section. The statement "thought crime prohibited" can easily be read to say that no one is allowed to have thoughts that would constitute crimes. What about saying something like "free thought allowed and enouraged, never prosecuted".

Just my suggestion.

Otherwise, you really did create a very thoughtful argument.

I think its a good thing here, just I dont have time to sit down and work out my perfect ideology, when other more learned men have done it for me, hence I am a socialist.
