Just read on the BBC that your Hawks went down in the big one.

So sorry.

Maybe next year!

Don't be sorry, I'm not!

The Hawks played a respectable game.
For a team that for 30 years has been known for losing,
this is one loss I can deal with.

Next year!

Man, you have to be the most positive person I know.

A few years ago, my team lost the Grey Cup (the CFL's superbowl). I didn't say "The Alouettes played a respectable game. Next year!"

I got stupid drunk, and trashed my lawnchairs in a drunken orgy of violence and cursewords.

I think that your approach is more constructive.

Oh c'mon guys! eek.gif

Share you're stories of random destruction and drunken fits.

I'm sure it's not limited to me!

Here's another one for you (but I was sober this time):

I made a phone call from a public phone to my wife, and used a $1 coin. I thought that after I made my call, it would give me 75 cents back change.

My stupid answering machine picked up, so I hung up the phone and wait for my change. I heard the $1 coin enter the belly of the telephone, but no change was forthcoming. FOr some reason, the machine stealing 0.75 cents from me really pissed me off, so I started to beat the receiver against the payphone, cursing quite loudly at it.

I stopped the insane beating when a few people stopped to stare at me abusing the phone booth.

But I felt better afterwards.

"I'm sure it's not limited to me!"

Uh, no. No, of course not.

Oh soon,

Despite having your little hippie van avatar, I'm sure you have an angry, cursing, lawnchair destroying "inner soon" that is just dying to be let out!
