I've known Sky for several years and I can tell you with absolute authority that for him, flirting is akin to breathing, and just as automatic!

I see no problem with supporting and promoting ones healthy ego.
If someone pleases me, I have no issue saying so,
and this includes both sex's.

However, I am hetero, so it's more likely a female would please me,
and I'd feel thusly more likely to want to make her smile by pleasing HER ego.

And yes, my motivations also range into the selfish as when she is pleased and smiles,
MY ego also gets the reward!

Yep. Give it a little time.

do you mean the little flag button changing from black and white to color?

If so, just click the color button, and it'll change to blk/wht for you. Then it'll go color when someone posts again.

and discovered the only way I can to deal with it,
and that to acknowledge that two posts are joined,
and make a dividing line
