I think it's time we start looking out the window, see who's there for the White House from the Democrat party in 2008.

I know most of the member here have thought who may be nominated from our party to run for the presidency. I have listed my choices.. 1 to 5, one being my number one choice.

Here goes,

1. Gov. Bill Richardson (D-NM) President.
Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill) V. Pres.

or

Gov. Bill Richardson (D-NM) Pres.
Gov. Tom Vilsack (D-Ia) V.P.

2. Gov. Mark Warner (D-Va) Pres.
Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill) VP.

3. Gov. Tom Vilsack (D-Ia) Pres.
Sen. Evan Bayh. (D-IN) VP>

4. Gov. Mark Warner (D-Va) Pres.
Sen. Russ Fiengold. (D-Wis) VP.

5. Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) Pres.
Wesley Clark. Former Army General

These are in my opinion the best candidates for 2008 in that order.

Anyone care to put their selection here.?

Or you can make your selection from the web site below.

Al Gore. A Gore-Clinton ticket might be nice.

Al Gore - yep!
Richardson and Fiengold, yes, but the pickens get real thin real quick, in my opinion, as far as leadership goes in Washington. They are either part of the current machine, or are oblivious to it.

The truth is, at least when it comes to Supreme Court nominees, Bush gets more opposition from his own party than he will ever get from Democrats. Just look at the Meyers nomination. If I were joking, this would be funny.

But I realy don't think our future is so musch about parties anymore. That is a manufactured division created by propaganda and control of the debate. Most Americans are for the return of the government back to the people, rebuilding and maintenance of the public infrastructure for the benefit of all, rights and protections for workers, land use planning and protection of the natural world, equal opportunity and protection under the law for all citizens, and have no interest in spying on or harassing their neighbors because of their race, gender, religion, gender preference or for any other reason.

It should not be a partisan debate to determine our future.

(big Al is going to try and rally some troops Monday in an apearance in DC w/ Bob Barr of all people. his speach is going to be hardcore, by all accounts)
