Will a few favorites do? Beatles in Pittsburgh, PA. 1964 or '65. Bob Dylan in Pgh. in '65. Sounds corny but Peter, Paul and Mary in Long Beach, CA in '68. Not really a concert I suppose, but hearing one of my favorites, Dave Van Ronk at a little club called the Golden Bear in Huntington Beach, CA in '72. Do I sound old or what?

James Brown (twice) front row, once.
Cowboy Junkies
Beck (before Beck was cool)
Green Day way before they were known (3 bucks to see 5 bands)
Ryan Roberts, you don't know him yet, but you will.
Panda
Too many to count, late 60s on.
Favorite venue, Santa Barbara County Bowl.
A memorable event was "The Last Waltz" in 1978.
Only 5,000 of us mere mortals attended.

Arlo Guthrie...

Omigosh! When did you see Arlo Guthrie? For me it was Connecticut in 1979.

Ok I saw Wolfman Jack hosting local bands in '74

The following were in '70's too:
Beach Boys

Chicago

Jesus Christ Superstar (does that count?)

Ray Stevens

Ronnie Milsap

'90's & later :
Tony Orlando (Branson MO)

Bobby Vinton (Branson MO)

Jim Stafford (Branson MO does that count?)

was at a party Lou Reed attended (does that count?)

Metallica

Kid Rock (was working at that concert, does that count?)

Lots of local bands , can't recall any more nationally known bands.

You've got to be kidding... did people walk out? Everyone was requesting Alice's Restaurant... he did act like he was tired of it though.
