Televangelist suggests illness is divine punishment for ‘dividing God’s land’

NORFOLK, Va. - Christian broadcaster Pat Robertson suggested Thursday that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s stroke was divine punishment for “dividing God’s land.”

“God considers this land to be his,” Robertson said on his TV program “The 700 Club.” “You read the Bible and he says ‘This is my land,’ and for any prime minister of Israel who decides he is going to carve it up and give it away, God says, ‘No, this is mine.”’

Sharon was old, 77, fat and stressed.

I don't know who is right on that one...

It's going to be very interesting if Sharon does recover and makes a comeback in a few months. Will old Pat Robertson say it's a miracle and that his god has smiled on Sharon if that happens?

Sharon may well survive, but after a massive stroke it's very unlikely he'll ever be back politics.
With any luck Pat will soon experience what Sharon has!
I know that's hateful, but damn, the man(?) doesn't deserve any mercy!

The two idiots, do resemble come to think about it. One gone to extremes over religion, or what ever religious beliefs Pat may have, and the other idiot we have for a pretender of a President has taken up the bottle again, or did he ever leave it.

Just think, one gets drunk, and the other can preach to him about the almighty sins they both exhibit.
