Just thinking out loud.
Interesting how ever since LBJ, a liberal who tried to finish what FDR started,
the Republicans have been rallied behind the idea of killing all that Progressive shit off!
Dead, dead, dead and dead!
And we, the American people, let them, as if our personal greed made us deaf to history.
How easily we have been convinced we should forget that it was the conservative economic policies
of the early 20th century that CAUSED the Great Depression, and though WWII eventually finished that period,
FDR's Progressive policies were beating the depression, and had helped to prevent such things since then!
At the least old people felt safer in a country that did not abandond them after they have given their prime.
Young people felt safer knowing they would more likely have a good job and a safer, brigher future.
Then LBJ came along and said yes, black people should share in this feeling of safety too!
So, why do you suppose it is that big corporations simply can't abide a middle class population?
You can't tell me it's all about profits. They were getting rich all the time. It's a matter of degrees.
Would the capitalists mogels care so little about their own future that they would kill it along with middle class?
I dunno. Greed is a funny thing.
I guess being poor isn't such a bad thing.
I wonder if we'll ever get the ring back into Mt. Doom!
