Next poll> how clueless are Democrats and Independents about PNAC? unsure.gif
MasterMind
Everyone I tell about in my neck of woods doesnt have a clue. Not a one.
sky of mind
I have no idea how many do or don't know.
But if I were to guess, I'd have to say the percentage must be very small.

Though I really have no way of knowing this, except as MM said,
no one in my seems to have neighborhood a clue.
I suspect quite a few have an idea it's bad, but Don't Want To Know!

This conclusion comes from the reaction to the signs in my truck window.

The other day I was out renting movies,
this guy walks up to my truck while I wasn't there.
I had just left the store and was walking towards my truck.
He didn't look to be a very friendly sort, and soon as he saw my direction,
he changed course and didn't go to the truck.

This bothers me because I got Vibes that said he wasn't pleased with my signs.
Had I not shown up just then,
would he have just read the signs at point blank range and fumed?
Or would he have done some anger vandelism?

That's the risk one takes puting out the information that forces Conservative
ass holes to admit they MIGHT have been mistaken, or even worse, jerked around!

During the run up to the 04 elections, this old farmer had to put his political signs back up 3 times.
The last time they got trashed, they ripped them up so badly they couldn't be put back up.
This is about a mile and a half from my home, and I live in a Very Blue State!

I have been through that feeling myself, when I was sucked up in a pyramid scam...such "nice Christian" people! They are very clever ... they use your friends and family and lie to them that "they don't have to sell... just get others to join and buy stuff." Then they get your friends to lie to you, only your friends don't know they are lying to you , so you believe in "the plan" because the con artist is in your living room with your friends, whom you believe. I figured the whole scam out AFTER I bought into it (it's huge and worldwide and the "A" word under a huge Diamond distributor >>> check out who they and all their relatives donate campaign funds to!) The downline are all suckers, but at some point if a downliner climbs high enuf on the backs of his/her downline, then there is an internal bureaucratic change in order to become an upliner. At this point the downliner learns from his upline sponsor that he/she has to lie to break the internal company rules to keep on saying the "they don't have to sell ... just get others to join and buy stuff" line. Some downliners that get that far up are so brainwashed by "the good" they are doing "for others" that they take that "leap of faith" and break the rules to go into the upline's conartist game. Some catch on that it is also against the law , and start websites to warn others, but then stay in the game
legally by selling retail to customers to maintain an income (because they would lose everything if they didn't! ) And luckily I learned early in the game to quit, because I noticed some of the paperwork was not "A" company paperwork and when I called the manufacturer of the phony paperwork (with phony rules) , I actually found out by phone that the diamond of our group contracted that paperwork! I realized then that the top diamond was operating a "shadow pyramid" selling phony paperwork, books, tapes etc that was parallel to the "A" company (so the "A" company could be clean with the official paperwork!) Is any of this starting to sound familiar??? ohmy.gif

That's why to this day I believe Colin Powell was not "in" on the WMD scam, he was our dupe who was not in the PNAC loop, but the Neocons had to use someone credible like Colin Powell to talk to the American people and Congress and the world, so the Neocons placed Powell , someone who is "our friend" , in a very credible setting at the UN to tell us what the Neocons told him to say. Then the Neocons just hammered home everything Colin Powell said on every talk show throughout the pre-war process. Then Colin Powell resigned when he started catching on that he'd been used as a dupe. I still think Powell has a hard time admitting it to himself that he was lied to by his superiors (just like downliners cannot admit that the upline diamonds are not really "good Christian folks helping others") and that is why retired Col. Wilkerson runs around making speeches about "the cabal" (why doesn't he just say PNAC?) and defends Powell so fiercely. In other words , PNAC is a "shadow govt." that is operating parallel with the duly selected White House Administration.

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, so sorry for getting so long-winded, but how in the world do we approach Republicans THAT THEY'VE BEEN HAD by the Neocons? I guess we just keep doing the Media's job with our signs and if they approach us , ask them to go Google themselves tongue.gif (with love of course wink.gif

My favorite approach is leaving business card size papers with "Google search PNAC" in public restrooms all over town! Sometimes I'll even hand one to someone at the end of a casual friendly chat as I tell them good-bye!
(That was one thing I learned from those pyramid con-artists, the "curiousity factor" >>> Rovian techniques can work for the good guys too! smile.gif

Some never will get over it Yank.
Hell, some still want the confederate states back!

There will always be that fringe.
