So far she's covered the theft of the rest of our treasury...upcoming bill that socks it further to the poor and elderly (Medicare and Medicaid cuts) while giving yet another tax cut to the incredibly wealthy so they can leave MORE money to their children like Jenna and Barbara.

She discussed the White Phosphorous story and Napalm. As she said, we've known about this for a long time but it's good the story is finally getting some attention.

(We've also discussed this subject at this forum...Napalm substitute MK 77. http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/sys...itions/mk77.htm )

Apocalypse now...Randi's right. She's outraged. She says each one of us should write to our two senators and our congressperson demanding an end to torture. She has further on her website....and pictures.

I never get to hear her anymore. For some reason, our local affiliate, WCPT, has to go off the air at dark. Something about FCC regulations. Since daylight savings time started, Randi has been cut off in Chicago. cry.gif

It's nice to know that there are some moderate voices on the US airwaves to counter the nut jobes like Rush.

Maybe I'll give it a listen sometime here at work smile.gif.

I'm pissed off! AAR is requiring registration to stream Randi.
Why? WTF is going on? In the meantime, WJNO (New Jersey) still has stream at
http://wjno.com/streaming.html but there's a weird echo. mad.gif

As Cheney attempts to re-write history and Bush embarrasses himself on other continent for a change, Congress is slowly but surely finding their voice, heart and collective backbone. Amazing what having to facing the voters will do to you…

Hear the Sunday show lies exposed, the shrill shrieking of the GOP counted with truth, logic and reason, and how a pack of petty thugs and thieves pushed their filthy oil war through and managed to keep it going.

This and much more on today’s Randi Rhodes Show.

You're in luck. They podcast her show for free. Open up iTunes (or download it for free if you dont have it on your PC) and click on the podcast section on the left hand side. THen just type in "Democracy Now" in the search field at the top and hit enter. They've got a new one every day, and a complete archive of any previous shows. Great for if you have an ipod, or to just play on your PC if you dont. Its about a 2 minute download on a DSL connection. Highly recommended.

I heard her shows about WP and the stolen 2004 election, and it just blows your mind that this is not being reported on in the rest of the media. But, with modern technology, you dont have to be part of the corporate media to get your message out. You just podcast it. biggrin.gif
