laugh.gif I voted MORON, but I'd like to add that he'd be classified, in my book at least, as a LOW-END MORON or one who is SEVERELY MENTALLY RETARDED. laugh.gif

THAT may be dumber than a DUMBASS. blink.gif

http://www.webenet.com/iqclassifications.htm

I DO like that DEFINITE FEEBLEMINDEDNESS in the cited chart that is no longer applicable. It might also be used to help determine Bush's intelligence level. thumbup.gif

I picked "mental deficient" because I thought it was approx. the same as moron and dumbass. I think he is all three and "feebleminded." Once I commented that I (IQ of 131) was smarter than Bush even though I never finished college and he did (must have been dad's money). My husband (IQ of 157) replied that our 13 month old son was smarter than Bush. My husband and I have decent IQ's and we hate Bush and love OAC, so does that mean Bush supporters are stupid? tongue.gif Am I allowed to say Bush supporters are stupid...?

Gadzooks!
bush's grades in college would indicate that he was an average student. A man of average intelligence. He is clearly not stupid...look at how much of what he wants he gets. He is a savvy manipulator. I don't think his deficiency is measurable as IQ, but rather as EQ, emotional quotient. He is a psychopath, and only sees people as objects to be manipulated to get what he wants. A man with a heart of gold...hard and yellow. He has no concept of the suffering of others...everyone but him is made of wood, to be burned to keep him warm.
sky of mind
I selected Less than average,
mostly for the same reasons Zooks mentions.
But, I think he has always gotten an extra unfair edge.
His average grades were not likely of his own singular efforts.

Subsequent history shows that every single effort he has attempted
ended in failure.
Unless he had someone holding his hand, telling him when to pee and where!
Though he clearly is smart enough to be devious and dangerous,
when he's not pissing on his foot!

I've said before...

Bush is either stupid or evil, and he's not stupid.

Let me just say that a man can be intelligent while at the same time being totally incompetent, inpractical, and disconnected from reality. Such is I believe the case with Bush. Without having seen the poll numbers yet, Im probably the only person to vote Bush "Intelligent".

"Intelligence" is not a measure of Wisdom, good judgement, or competence. Keep that in mind. I don't believe Bush is stupid, by any means, but neither is he competent to hold the job of US President.

I keep scrolling down but I haven't found the right one yet.

Perhaps I should have added "not stupid, but evil."
AntiFlagWaver
To be evil, I think you have to know that you are doing wrong and not care. That is very different from doing wrong but believing you are doing right.

Bush is doing wrong, of that there can be no doubt, but the question is, what does he believe about what he is doing? Does he know its wrong and not give a shit? Or does he believe he is somehow doing right?

I think he believes he is right, even when he is totally wrong. In that case, can you call him evil? Probably not. Misguided, incompetent, Foolish are better words to describe him.

But Dick Cheney? There is one evil bastard, IMO. This man knows he is doing wrong, has done so for years, and does not give a shit. He advocates torture of others. Evil. Much more so than Bush.

By that logic, was Hitler evil?

I was looking for the option "Retarded Chimp with Downs Syndrome who was dropped as a baby" but it wasn't there.

Just look at his eyes people. This is NOT an intelligent man.

Report: President Bush Has Lowest IQ of all Presidents of past 50 Years

Since 1973, the Lovenstein Institute has published it's research to the education community on each new president, which includes the famous "IQ" report among others.

According to statements in the report, there have been twelve presidents over the past 50 years, from F. D. Roosevelt to G. W. Bush who were all rated based on scholarly achievements, writings that they alone produced without aid of staff, their ability to speak with clarity, and several other psychological factors which were then scored in the Swanson/Crain system of intelligence ranking.

The study determined the following IQs of each president as accurate to within five percentage points:

     147 Franklin D. Roosevelt (D)
     132 Harry Truman (D)
     122 Dwight D. Eisenhower ®
     174 John F. Kennedy (D)
     126 Lyndon B. Johnson (D)
     155 Richard M. Nixon ®
     121 Gerald Ford ®
     175 James E. Carter (D)
     105 Ronald Reagan ®
     098 George HW Bush ®
     182 William J. Clinton (D)
     091 George W. Bush ®

The six Republican presidents of the past 50 years had an average IQ of 115.5...  President G. W. Bush was rated the lowest of all the Republicans with an IQ of 91.

The six Democrat presidents had IQs with an average of 156, with President Clinton having the highest IQ, at 182.

IQ Test Scores: The Basics of IQ Score Interpretation

Apparently, the IQ gives a good indication of the occupational group that a person will end up in, though not of course the specific occupation. In their book, Know Your Child’s IQ, Glen Wilson and Diana Grylls outline occupations typical of various IQ levels:

140 Top Civil Servants; Professors and Research Scientists.
130 Physicians and Surgeons; Lawyers; Engineers (Civil and Mechanical)
120 School Teachers; Pharmacists; Accountants; Nurses; Stenographers; Managers.
110 Foremen; Clerks; Telephone Operators; Salesmen; Policemen; Electricians.
100+ Machine Operators; Shopkeepers; Butchers; Welders; Sheet Metal Workers.
100- Warehousemen; Carpenters; Cooks and Bakers; Small Farmers; Truck and Van Drivers.
90 Laborers; Gardeners; Upholsterers; Farmhands; Miners; Factory Packers and Sorters.

When you consider an average IQ score is 100,
this makes Bush, (and his daddy) less than average.

Not completely stupid, but less than average.
Generally, those without the capability to be smarter than the problem,
will compensate in in other ways, like lie and be deceiving!

Also note,
that though IQ can be an important measure of intelligence,
being intelligent is of zero value,
if you have low common sence.

If you don't have the natural ability to look at the sun and know which way is north,
then though a compass will tell you, it's means nothing to you logically,
and you will never know which way is north without a compass.

I have known many, many "book smart" people,
who couldn't figure their way out of a paper bag.

Rep. J. C. Watts once said when he introduced George W. Bush? "You don't have to be smart to be president."

The Republicans seem to be intent on proving that theory.

I voted Genius.

Why?

Because look at all he has done, right in front of your face and look what you have done in responce.

Enough said on that issue.

Eck... there's some faulty logic. The actions of others does not determine the intelligence of the individual.

Bush exists in a system where any criticism is seen as a lack of patriotism.

I determine Intelligence as the ablitity to survive in your enviroment.

33% populatiry, I'd say not very well.

Also, with such rampant cronyism (sp?) I think that determining how well he survives in his environment is difficult at best...
sky of mind
The point is that even though the waters are teeming with sharks,
he's still swimming, even if not very well.

Bush, like most lower IQ people, is opportunistic!

He didn't create anything, he takes advantage of the situation,
and manipulates his world with bluff, subtrafuge, obfuscation and out right lie.

These are not the marks of a smart mind.
Then lets consider that most of us can agree, he is a puppet.

The REAL man in charge is Cheney!
No doubt about it!

Bush by him self with out Cheney?
Recall the Bush days on the ranch BEFORE 9/11.

That called him "the Village Idiot" because he is!
MasterMind
Good point, but I still give him a high score for his "friend" picking skills. Of course they most likely just use him for his name....

*strokes his chin in deep thought*
