The relief measures taken for the Hurricane (2) Rita by the Federal Government shows the efficiency of the concerned authorities in Disaster Management. This time the Government took early steps in getting the relief materials to the victims. One of the victims wrote in a lobby in Weblobbying quoting: “It now seems that the Federal Government is well aware of the circumstances and is trying to work out policies for the number two devastate Rita.”
