I do like it! biggrin.gif

The Germans are very concerned about this, as you might imagine. 70-odd years ago, they were in much the same boat, after all! And they had some help in overthrowing and rebuilding their country from people over here. Now, a lot of them think it's time to return the favor.

And a lot of them have posted their pics and messages of encouragement at http://www.apologiesaccepted.com , too.

Actually, it's not that cold up here. Just ask our lovely and talented site-owner and his wife; they probably spent a colder night in Iowa than I did here in Southern Ontario. tongue.gif

Much thanks, Canucks..but I personally have to respectfully decline your generous offer on account of my constant allergies to -40 degree wind chills..although, if you're available anytime during hurricane season, I might hold you to your offer.

Besides..someone has to stay and fight the bastards. twisted.gif twisted.gif

Well, no -40 degree windchills here in Southern Ontario, unless the jet stream from the north is really strong. Our winters are more wet than cold. 'Course, the clamminess can make it FEEL cold. laugh.gif

On the other hand, in hurricane season, it's kind of nice here.
