Ok can communism work?

cuba is still ok... chinas moving towards capitalism... north korea are wierd

or is socialism just a diluted version?

Communism cannot work. It may sound good in theory but it would be impossible to make it work in reality. We have never seen true communism. Soviet-Style "Communism" is just a dictatorship under a label of "communism". The problem is that whoever is put in power to enforce the policy does not want to be equal with the working masses. When the leadership separates themselves from the people, it is no longer communism.

Capitalism has many flaws too, but its the best government type we have seen so far. I think a cross between Capitalism and Socialism may be the best form of government, something like what the UK has. Not perfect, but the best we have seen. Oh, and by all means, Guns must be abolished in any civil society. The fact that America refuses to do that makes them a barbaric society with all the problems that go along with that. When America gives up its guns, then it will be ready to enter civilized society.

thanks for writing back antiflagwaver.

would you agree when saying the the communism seen in russia was simmilar to the way the tsar controlled russia?

for example the tsar and the soviet leaders could do almost anything they wanted.

i disagree about a society when the only way to make everyone equal is to bring the upper classes down... when maybe these people have earned their own money fairly.

In effect AFW, that's what America has constantly been doing.
Looking for a balance between capatolism and socialism.

This is a socialistic country, (run by capatolists) and as a progressive I believe in socialistic programs.

We will always be head to head and toe to toe with those who believe they have earned their fortunes on the backs of society, yet feel they owe this same society nothing for it!

As I see it, we have not yet evolved to a place in which both halves of that coin can realize they are the same come, and that either cannot exist without the other!

America is a blend of Capitolism and Socalism.
The root of the great debate in our society today,
is in finding the balance of that blend!

you have to decide between communism and socialism. throwing the two together as if they were one is not right.

Communism can work....in a jar with lots of ants.

Socialism comes in many colours. It works, no doubt.

okay, I read your question too quickly. Sorry, Socialsim is in fact a diluted version. One famous person once said socialism will eventually lead to communism....I forget who that was...Marx or so. BUT, the upper class hasn't "fairly earned their monies".
