What do you mean warned?
I mean that whenever you create a poll, some people will try to make it turn out to favor their own position. Whenever you have an election, some people will try to rig it in their own favor. Just a fact of life.

I just want the "people" to vote I don't care about "swaying" anything. Is there really a question in the "peoples" minds who has been taking our liberties away, especially on this site?
Nope. That's why a poll isn't necessary. You can just read some of the stuff here and see how people here feel on that particular subject. In fact all you really have to do is look at the name of the board. People here know about the PNAC agenda, know who is carrying it out, and know how it is taking away our liberties.
A poll won't wake anyone up. Put it on a right-wing site and it you get one response, put it on a left-wing site and you get the opposite. Like asking if you believe in God. Ask it on a religious site and most people will say they do, but if you put it on an atheist site, most people will say they don't.
A push-poll is one that doesn't just ask how people feel, but actually tries to make them respond in a particular way that they probably don't feel. Like, "Would you feel differently about voting for your favorite candidate if you knew they were really Attila the Hun in disguise?"
A poll that gets banned on a right-wing site is probably designed to push people towards the left, and the admins will recognize it and ban it. On a left-wing site the same poll might be already accepted gospel, and therefore pointless.
Putting a poll on a mainstream site is like calling in to a MSM talk show. If you get through at all, you'll either be cut off or vilified.
Better to look at some of the old discussions here about terrorism, freedom, government, or whatever your interest is, and, if you have something new to add, add it. An oversimplified poll can be misleading and is easily misinterpreted.
Sometimes we get Libertarian trolls who think that "government" is taking away their liberties, but really don't understand the PNAC agenda, who's behind it, and how it is carried out. There are some dedicated people who usually take the time to rebut their arguments point by point--not because anyone that dumb is educable, but because there are lurkers reading the topic who can and will understand, will laugh their heads off watching the troll get its just desserts, and will then know how to deal with trolls like that themselves in the future.
