What should happen to these snakes and skunks of the Bush Administration when they are no longer in power?

Its a question worth asking. Currently they are in power and appear to be "untouchable". For all of the bad decisions they have made, which has brought the integrity of the United States from that of a benevolent super-power to that of an aggressor nation that knows no bounds in what it will do, what is a fitting punishment? These people have made horrible decisions that effect everyone in the US and the world. So, what, if anything, should happen to them?

If you are as outraged as I am by what I am seeing in the news, then you probably also feel a strong desire to see those who have orchestrated this shit to be appropriately punished. These people are criminals who have driven our once-proud nation into the sewer with their lust for revenge and profits and exploitation.

Knowing that we must operate within the law that was unfortunately designed to regulate the masses and protect those in power (winks at the government lurkers watching this site), what can and should be done to these villians who now wear the little American flags pinned to their lapels and dresses and act like they are the very embodiment of America itself?

Yeah, I'm pissed at this point.

Freeze all their ill-gotten taxpayer funded assets and jail them.
That's what I'd like to see. The sooner the better.

How about sending them to Iraq to serve time in Abu Ghraib, with the Iraqis as their guards?

How about leading them through the streets of Fallujah in chains, and then all of their wealth be pooled to contribute to the rebuilding of that once beautiful city?

How about making them have to serve millions of hours at Veterans' Hospitals where there are hundreds of wounded troops from the Iraqi debacle?

How about making them serve millions of hours tending to the graves of the dead US troops who died fighting in a war that was begun on lies and deceit?

How about 99 years of mucking out camel and goat stalls in Iraq?

AND we're all pissed off! For me, it's hard to even describe how I feel.

Correct: freeze all their assets and send them to the Hague to stand trial for crimes against humanity and other war crimes.

They should be locked up in the cell right next to Milosivick (sp), Pinochet, and Saddam Hussein (and maybe even throw Henry Kissinger in there while we're cleaning house). The invasion of Iraq was an outright war crime. Regime change is simply not a legal justification for invading another country. Just because you don't like someone, you don't have a right to just invade the country. Why do you think the British attorneys were having such a fit about legal justification around the time the Downing Street Memo was written? Even they knew that it was criminal.

That leaves only the shaky and wild WMD claims as a legal justification for war, but even that justification doesn't exist. Bush needs to take off his tinfoil hat, as he still seems to believe all of these wild conspiracy theories about WMD's.

The US should hand over these criminals to the world court as soon as logistically possible. Being found guilty, their sentence should be one or more of the suggestions mentioned above.

It's too bad that what will probably happen is that all the files and documents from this era will be sealed until the year 2150 like they did with all the documents from the Reagan and BushLite administration.

But a lot of the truth is already out there, and the snowball is growing. Patrick Fitzgerald is the man of the moment. Let's hope he is the Elliot Ness/Elliot Spitzer that he seems to be.

Thats why the Republicans fear him and are watching him very closely. They know that he could bring down the whole Republican house of cards by pulling out the "right" cards. They have good reason to fear.

I think nothing short of an American Bastille day will get these thugs out of office. I would like to see them raped in the shower of a maximum security peditentery.

You might be right here. Revolution!
