I love chili peppers... We currently have habeneros growing in our garden as well as jalapenos, cayennes and thai dragons and next year we will be adding these...

Hot Pepper Biker Billy Hybrid

How about y'all? Do you like em hot? Do you grow your own? Do you smoke them?

Used to pick hot peppers in my yard when I lived in Honduras, but hadn't thought about it here. Living in San Diego there are stores devoted solely to hot pepper products.

On the other hand, I have a few plants on my apartment's tiny patio and they've been getting attacked by insects. I don't like pesticides, but I think I just might try a few hot pepper plants--Biker Billy's hybrid looks like a good choice. Not only would I have a handy supply for cooking, but it just might give those pesky bugs the shock of their lives. biggrin.gif

I don't like them too hot. user posted image
They assault my senses and taste bitter to me.
If they drown out the taste of the food I dislike them intensely.
Plus, I don't like to cry while I eat. tongue.gif
I've grown lots of peppers. This year, just tomato plants. user posted image

We grew hot peppers in our garden for a few years. None this year. Still have enough of the best harvest in jars. That harvest was evil. My wife plucked them all barehanded and cried for hours...they were so hot...just from harvesting them. We use jarred hot peppers on our home made pizzas and we have some dried up to crush and add to home made chili etc. I have a picture of a big bunch of em hung up to dry somewhere. It looked just like Sonora revisited. We like it hot. Acquired the taiste while in Az. But when it's too hot, you can't enjoy the meal.

Never smoked the shit. Hell no. Hospitals and me don't get along so I try to avoid em.

Ooops I think I am on the wrong thread. unsure.gif I was looking for the paper tiger page and this is the pepper tiger place. Sorry! I am still confused from being several weeks on European time!

Butt, as long as I am here, those hot jalapenos wont match the hot from the habeneros you are already growing!! My cats no longer beg to lick my dinner plate, after having a Scotch Bonnet experience!
