Hey, ((((((THEODDZ! ))))))

I'm SO glad you're here...at last! Welcome! thumbup.gif Welcome! thumbup.gif Welcome!

You're going to love being among all of us again, and in a much better environment than we've been in together before. The intelligence level at POAC is quite high, so you'll fit right in. biggrin.gif

Come on in, put your feet up, and fill us in on what you've been up to.

Coffee's on....

Well, geesh, thanks everyone!!!! It's good to see all the friendly familiar faces and the promise of more like-minded potential pals!!!

Well, let's see........I've been working, for the most part. I got sort of burned out on the other boards and sort of disappeared for awhile. I'm still recovering from my foot surgery. This ordeal with my left foot has proven to be a little more intense than what I endured with the right foot. Think I may have returned to work a little too soon with it??

Anyway, things are going good. I'm a "shift leader" now at work, and am in the process of pissing management off again.....simply because I think I should get paid for the additional duties that have been tossed on my plate. I don't have to tell you folks how the VA is really struggling for funds these days. It's so sad, really!!! I almost feel bad about asking for more money, but these extra duties are really dogging me, since I now have to take the fall, should any of the other therapists screw up.

Anyway, it's good to be back and be surrounded with good and intelligent people again!! I'm very much looking forward to some good mental interchanges and comraderie here again. Oh look who else is here.........KING FISHER!!!!! biggrin.gif

I'm in excellent company, indeed!!!!

thumbup.gif I'm one of the new folks to this forum and would like to say how wonderful to find this site by accident the other day while on the internet. A little about myself. I'm 55 years old a liberal democrat. I attended the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas received a B.A. in Philosophy and went on to study Theology at Oblate College of the SouthWest in San Antonio, Texas. I studied to be a Catholic priest with an Order named The Holy Ghost Fathers and Brothers. Left the Order in the early 80's. Found out that I just didn't buy the whole program of the Church.

I'm back home in Denver and await the Democratic Convention with excitment and hope. I look forward to being a part of this forum and I'm a little awed by the intelligent folks who are part of this community. If I make mistakes or worse, be incorrect in my knowlege please let me know as that is the only way one learns. Thanks!

Hi Tommy. Welcome aboard - I've enjoyed reading what you've posted so far. thumbup.gif

Don't fret about mistakes and what-not, we all make them, and tend to be fairly gentle in pointing them out to each other ... most of the time! wink.gif

I have the same thing under my name.
Mine also says 0%. I assume that's because no-one wishes to issue any warnings about me? I wouldn't give it another thought if I were you Gramps. wink.gif
