I just had a thought,

OK, recall Bush said Osama, wanted, dead or alive,
We'll smoke him outta his hole, yadda, yadda, yadda?

And during the war in Afghanistan Osama manages to "get away!"

Then after Afghanistan Bush says, yeah well, no biggie,
I just don't think about Osama all that much, yadda, yadda, yadda?


I think I might have figured out why!

If the US had caught OR killed him ................................ no more war on terror!

I can't stand to watch Bush in his little staged press conferences so I don't know if any "enterprising" reporter has the balls to actually ask that question of the Emperor, Sky. And how would he ever be asked that question by anyone, even if they tried to do it? They'd be "removed" by the Secret Service or some other group of paid shills.

When Bush goes out in public, he doesn't "see" the public. He sees what Rove has set up for him to see. His "town hall" meetings are staged and only supporters are going to be there, so they're not going to ask that question, definitely. He zips along on deserted public streets, both here and in other countries, on his way to the next staged meeting or "conference." He's hidden behind armor and dark, bullet proof glass, scared shitless that someone will have gotten by his massive security resources.

It's such a paradox. Bush has gradually built up around himself a protective armor that isn't for protection against any terrorist attack. It's for protection so he can continue to BE the world's leading terrorist. Osama's few successful efforts to terrorize the world are obsolete compared to those of the Bush administration.

Bush is now the Alpha, he won the pissing contest.

Bush IS Osama.

Osama Bin Laden has been the best thing for the Republican neo-cons to ever come along. He brought them to power and keeps them in power. They don't want to capture or kill him because to do so would signal that the war on terrorism had been won and there is no need for the War on Iraq, The Patriot Act, etc.

They need him to be "somewhere out there", always a threat, always something that has to be guarded against and fought against, and always something for which the Republican strong-arm approach and tactics are needed to fight against.

Osama is the symbol of global terrorism against the US, and as such he plays an important function to the Republican power-structure.

Its not fair to the Neo-cons for you to try to peek under the curtain like that, so quit it!
