Hello to my fellow members of POAC.
Firstly I should say I am British, 22 and live in the real world, I look forward to joining this site as I have seen some of the issues posted, and the variety of views shared on them and feel this is a more open site than many of the other sites I have flicked through in the past few weeks.
I live in the north midlands of the UK and my attention was drawn to the PNAC by a documentary called "The power of nightmares", a TV doc by Channel 4. It addressed the issue of PR post and prior to 911 and how the NeoCons wanted to raise the profile of terrorism to justify war in Afghanistan and Iraq. This show opened my eyes to the reality of "The new world order" and the influence of the mass media, I have tried many times to research the issue of the NeoCon movement and their hand in that day, but certian info remains ellusive to me and I hope POAC and its members can help.
1/ PLEASE can any one tell me where I can find a copy of the doccument released April 10th 2001? The report authorises then use of military force to accuire oil contracts and recomends the use of "Presidential subterfuge" to hide the reasons for going to war "as a nessesity to mobilizing public support". It was commisioned by James Baker (Fmr Sec of State) for Dick Cheney. This is a BIG thing for me as this is the report that incriminates in my books.
2/The weekend before the 911 attack, there was a blackout in the south tower of the NY Twin Towers, can anyone direct me to sources that can verify this and answer questions about who did the "rewiring"eg;Which company got the contract?,and when? What are their links to either the PNAC or any political group?
3/Were sniffer dogs and their handlers pulled of duty the day before the "rewiring" took place? (6th,sept 01)

I know this site is a debating zone and research is in my intrest, so I should be the one doing it, but I really have used all the sites I've heard of and need help now, I have only a small budget but I hope soon to come to NY, and make what time I do spend there as efficiently as possible. I hope to publish my book early 2006, so any help in making my time there more productive would be much appriciated.
My book incidently is to be called "Das Crapital" An attempt to prove the PNAC not only let 911 happen by doing nothing, but they made it happen, then showing who profits. Not an original but hey, "if you can touch just one person, it's all worth it".

It seems you do have an interest in learning what happened and why. I will be looking for future posts to see if they are as hopeful as this one.

You posted a link to the Baker Institute whos Chairman is James A. Baker, III.
How does the Baker Institute tie in with the (this) "White Rose Society" ?

You also posted a link to PNAC's statement of principals. It's really important for us to read this statement so as to understand the direction of efforts. Among other tidbits, I find this portion of the statement alarming to say the least :

"We aim to make the case and rally support for American global leadership."

Hasn't American global leadership done it's fair share of harm across the globe?

What really shocks me though, honestly, is the list of signatories, amongst them
a few individuals I would rather not share a pizza with, paraphrase allowed ;

Jeb Bush
Dick Cheney
Donald Rumsfeld
Paul Wolfowitz

My final question ; am I in the wrong film here ?? As a discussion forum, POAC appears to be quite progressive. Many of the comments I have read thus far indicate a direction other than that of the individuals listed above. Sorry, but I can't go around asking for a major change in US policies while participating in a forum which supports persons whos policies I strongly denounce. I'm not that hypocritical nor am I that contradictory. The world is full of contradictions. A very good friend of mine and suvivor of Nazi terror once told me to search for the contradictions and question the status quo in search for the truth. In general, conservatives denounce dissent. I would prefer not to relenquish my right to dissent. Many thanks all the same.

Okay, okay, go ahead and laugh. Laughing is healthy. I had both POAC and PNAC open and didn't see the difference. Duh. whew ! My blood pressure went up, then down and now it's a total wreck. Rightly so. I've stepped into some pretty ugly puddles of mud and slipped off some really gross piles of doggy pooh in my times so this is nothing new. I'm just glad I didn't hit me head on the cement sidewalk as a result.

Let's just take this up as a lesson for beginners. Not all trees in the forest piss on you. Just the piss-elms. But they're all green at first sight.
