Proud to be a 'f******* redneck': The teenager expecting a baby with Sarah Palin's 17-year-old daughter

The teenager expecting a baby with the 17-year-old daughter of Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin calls himself 'a f***ing redneck' on his MySpace page.

Levi Johnston, 18, a high-school hockey player, is engaged to Bristol Palin, whose pregnancy was revealed to the Republican party convention just days after her 44-year-old mother was picked as John McCain's running mate.

Why is it that every time I see picture of Bristol, she is holding her baby brother? She holds that baby more then the "real" mother does it seems.

Yep.

And frankly Palin's daughter having a baby is not all that important. Though the right will say it demonstrates courage and their commitment to being anti abortion, and the left will say it shows the hypocrisy in spouting family values and abstinence only.

The bottom line is it's small potatoes compared to Palin's actual political shortcomings.

Correct. The pregnancy is NOT a political issue.
It is however, an emotional issue. Right up the right wings alley.
If Obama had a 17 year old unmarried daughter, you can bet the farm they'd make t shirts about it.

The only issue of value concerning this, is the hypocrisy of those who claim family values, abstinence and all that.
THEY would make it a political issue, even when it's not.

Sarah Palin's judgment is in focus, not Bristol Palin's
