I have no idea if there is a connection, but sometime yesterday afternoon the video that I posted here

went up on Youtube. The video shows Mr Palin in a very unglamorous moment bad mouthing his wife winning the governorship. The video is shot by the oldest, (and now pregnant) daughter.
It just seems odd that a big site like youtube would be down for such a lengthy time.
Is there a connection? Really I have no idea. However, considering who we're talking about, I would not be surprised.
