Funny thing. I was thinking about pwics. Some of them seem to post to several topics at the same time. Not very coherently, but I understand that is not important to them. But quickly. The main thrust of their effort is not to contribute to discourse, but to interrupt it. So I asked some of my savvy friends about this remarkable ability to be in more than one place at a time. Their reply was "gamers". PC gamers. Online gamers. I was told to look into one of the hottest online games going, "America's Army." Yup. Register to play. Register with… the US Army. It's a well-made shooter, as they go. High quality graphics and sound, and challenging. Here is the interesting thing…the army uses it as a recruiting tool. They give the contact information of the registered players to local recruiters. We pay for it, but that isn't the point. The recruiters share the contact information with … Protest Warriors, who also use it as a recruiting tool. So when the pwics show up on message boards, they are gaming them. Set up two screens of the same forum index and split the topics. Have an open folder of canned talking points, suggested topic responses, news clips and reference material, along with images, provided by their pwic sponsors. Copy and paste. Even faster with a lurker. It's game time. Big Brother isn't just watching, he's playing. This is happening hard on some of the other boards I visit, Music Row Democrats, for one.

I knew that America's Army was bad news as soon as I saw that it was being made. This just confirms it.

I like to play Bad Liberal at MRD... Bad foul mouthed Liberal... with big red letters just in case their parents happen to glance at the screen... and one of the MRD regulars gave me a wonderful picture of Johnny Cash flipping the bird that I use in my sigline there... it's a classic and totally fits their country music theme...

Well, the little pwics have hacked into MRD. The bb is down. I am gonna suggest to whoever rides herd on this board that they get together with MRD and compare some ip's.
