Oh the horror! The once great fundraising machine has collapsed! My god have mercy on our souls!

MSM Gets It Wrong, Obama Nearly Ties His Best Fundrasing Month Ever. Raises More Than Twice What McCain Raised. Democrats Now Have Has Much Money As Repubs.

How much did Bush raise for the RNC?
And from where does it come?

Yahoo got it right.

BTW, that's not Yahoo. That's an AP story.

Well....most stories are AP stories or Reuters. I thought the complaint was that mainstream media wasn't stating the story correctly and my statement was that at least Yahoo is, which is considered a mainstream media outlet.

Way to be brass knuckles there Sky. Somethings never change.

Yahoo lists three international wire services, along with several print sources.
Yahoo isn't a news orginization. Yahoo isn't part of the MSM anymore than POAC is.
Yahoo doesn't have any reporters or a news room. They simply collect via the net feeds and posts them.

The only reason the distinction is important is because you seem to think Yahoo made any sort of statement, or in anyway reported or influenced the news, which they did not. If there is any issue with the story, write to the AP.

It's also interesting sometime to compare stories between the AP, Reuters and AFP. Especially the AFP because that's a French wire service. (French Press Agency) Consistantly the AP and Reuters are comparable while the AFP is on a whole other plain.

It's good to understand what your talking about and in this case, you were talking about the MSM and Yahoo.

By the way. There were no brass knuckles. I didn't even know there was a fight! Should I be more aware?

Yahoo has it's own reporters and its own stories. I admit most of their news is just rerouted, but how is that any different then any cable news show that just leeches off of local news stations?

Um...so the article was a fake then? It was a blank page with no statement of news upon it? I could have swore there where words on that page that reported something. The story of course did not originate with them, by any means, but you are deluded if you think they didn't report anything. You did click the link and see words on the page right? With a little header that said "Yahoo News"?

Here is a delightful little link for you Sky.

In it you will find the site map for Yahoo news. Funny thing is Sky, there is a list of reporters and stories that DID originate from people employed by Yahoo. Now I will give you that they don't have a fancy little "news room" with cameras and what not, but in your old age I understand how change can be confusing. Even simple changes like people working from home and using computers as their main media source, which would make "news rooms" archaic. I don't need a pretty face sitting behind a desk to tell me what they think I should hear. I would rather use a news service that lets me look at ALL the news and lets me decide what to look at.

Oh please Sky, your feigned ignorance is getting less and less amusing. You could have picked a far better way to convey to me that you thought Yahoo sucked as a news source then the way you did. Your comment didn't even have anything to do with what we where talking about, only to try and prove someone wrong about something.

Please copy past any story off the Yahoo web site, or from anywhere, in which the by-line is a Yahoo reporter.

No, the story wasn't fake. How the hell you can make that statement is beyond me.
The story is an AP story, that doesn't make it fake any more than the stories POAC posts are fake.

BTW. Google does the same thing as yahoo, and they also have no reporters.
MasterMind
So...if it wasnt fake then you admit that Yahoo reported news? And with disseminating this news piece in some way influenced the news?

Here is a list of their reporters on staff.

* THE DUTY OF PATRIOTS IS TO CRITICIZE WHAT THEY SEE AS WRONG Mon Jul 7, 6:21 PM ET

* JAIL TIME GIVES PETTY OFFENDERS A RECORD THEY CAN'T ESCAPE Mon Jun 30, 5:32 PM ET

In several speeches, Barack Obama has used an easy, if imprecise, formulation to express his despair over the high incarceration rate of young black men. "I don't want to wake up four years from now and discover that we still have more young black men in prison than in college," he said at a rally last year, repeating, more or less, a line used frequently by critics of the criminal justice system.

I would like to point something out though. In doing research for this tit for tat Sky I have found out that a good number of Yahoo's reporters are also employed by http://www.creators.com/ (Creators Syndicate), which from my experience is slanted very much so towards the Neo-Cons. Which is interesting to say the least.

This is why I love conversing with you Sky. I learn so much from you. Thank you.

Columnists are not reporters. And syndicated columnists aren't really employees of Yahoo.
