John McCain wants to take the responsibility of providing insurance away from the employer and put it in the hand of the individual - thus making it impossible for individuals with pre-existing conditions to get into an insurance plan.
Every time I hear anyone use the Obama wants change but never says how he plans to make change I ask them to name 3 ways that john McCain's policy is different that George Bush's, It usually shuts them up.

That approach works well for me as well Jimmy, then for good measure I offer to lend them my copy of Vincent Bugilosi's book....That really shuts them up!!!
