I've had an extremely trying and frustrating weekend. Which has prompted me to reveal certain aspects where the media is concerned. Perhaps something we haven't given much thought to. This is but one case of millions in this country where the media is misled in one way or the other to cover up corruption and incompetency.
Many of these individual situations involve the violation of an individuals constitutional rights.
Not all of the media are as biased as we want to believe. There are lies at every level of government, right down to the municipal level. The code of ethics in media is to report what they are told and/or find thru investigative procedures in an unbiased format. True: many put the "party line spin" on what they report. Often times the managing editor is the one responsible for putting the spin on something he considers "news worthy".
The story below will walk you thru my experiences with an inept locat government, and my experience with a local TV news reporter:
19 years ago my wife served an 8 month sentence in the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL. She also had 2 years supervised probation. (drug related marajuana)
She did the time (model prisoner), fullfilled the probation and was released.
Friday: in a routine traffic stop, a 16 year old warrant for failing to pay $135.00 in court costs in that matter popped up. That's what they told her when they arrested her..
I went to the Jail; to take her some clothes and her medications, which I doubt she'll get because of the street value. This is a matter of life or death if she isn't medicated, and they don't care.
They would not tell me what she was charged with. They would not let me see if she was OK. They would not give me directions to the Jailhouse. (dosen't show up on "mapquest"). I found a neighbor who knows how to get there, so she showed me the way. They would not tell me where the "hearing" is going to be. They would not tell me the case number. They would not tell me the docket number. I have no Idea where this "hearing" is going to be. Don't I have a right to know where to appear so I can pay those court costs?
I offered to pay the court costs then and there. They refused. They said she had to see the judge on Monday (obstensibly: to create more court costs) I assume it is because the county is on the verge of bankruptcy, because of ineptitude and corruption.
I called the FBI and they told me there was "nothing they could do unless something happens". I said "after she's dead?".
That jail has more inmate deaths per-capita than any other in the state.
When she served that 8 month sentence she was constantly harrassed. The male guards insisted on watching her use the toilet, they went into the showers to watch the female inmates bathe. She was threatened constantly with vague innuendo and insult. She was sexually harrassed on a routine basis.
They did a lot of emotional damage to my wife in those 8 months. Even though she says "no", I suspect that she was sexually assaulted while there; when I see the terror in her eyes on that question. She isn't ready to talk about that yet. I can wait till she's ready to talk about that part of an unnecessary nightmare, at the hands of those white trash thugs.
I was seriously concerned for her safety. I know she is terrifed by the bad memories from that hick town hell hole, she still has nightmares. I have become her rock and they would not even let her know I was there for her.
This place is called "Lawrence County, AL", a small agricultural based community where "cotton is King". Meth labs are in abundance, the High School drop-out rate is among the nations highest, teenage pregancies are still rising. About as dumb and inept as it can get.
After I called the FBI; I e-maild many TV news personalities. I also called everybody I know, some of whom knew someone that held certain positions, one being the chief of police in Moulton AL where the jail is located. He was one of quite a few who called the jail and informed them that they are aware of my concerns and have reason to be concerned themselves.
That being said: I know my wife will not be mistreated this time around.
Enter "The Media": One of the tv reporters called the jail and they told her certains things in my wifes' case. As I said earlier I was told nothing at all. A friend of mine said they were so obnoxious to me was because of my northern accent. As it turns out: she was right. She is a native of the area and told me "They're strange in Lawrence County", "They're snobbish and often hostile to outsiders". It feels to this writer; that everyone in Lawrence County, AL has something to hide. Ergo: the distrust of outsiders, How's that for "southern hospitality"?
When the reporter called the jail: they told her my wife was being held for "homocide" and "criminal trespass". Both of which were bald faced lies to discourage the reporter from what I can help become a scandal they can't avoid should this story get out. There are many more I learned of these past 2 and a half days. I intend to seek those people out and get their stories.
One of my friends called the jail and asked about my wifes charges. She was told that my wife was there for failing to pay $135.00 court costs from that incident 19 years ago. She also pointed;y asked about the "criminal trespass"; the jailer said there was no such charge. My wife did not even know she owed them anything. When she was releasd from probation; no one told her of that fact. Once released: she never looked back. She was free because she paid for her crime....or so she thought.
After shift change: I called the jail again. This time with the best southern accent I could muster. I did my best "Goober" (of Andy Griffith fame) when I called. The jailer told me, all I have to do Is "go to the magistrates office pay the fine of $135.00", then: go to the jail and wait for a "blue slip" to be hand delivered to the jailer; and she will be released from the jail post haste. She will not even be transported for the court appearance after I swore I would be paying the fine at 8:00am. He said that once the fine is paid, there are no legal grounds for a hearing and she will be released immediately.
Once I get her home and settled: we are going on a quest for a personal injury lawyer willing to take it on for a 50/50 split. We intend to seek 7 figures in damages.
I also e-mailed the reporter and informed her that she was lied to on purpose. I think the reasoning behind the lies; was what I stated earlier. I offered to contribute to the story "if management was'nt too conservative to care about justice."
Due process was not served. They sent a sheriffs deputy on a 3 hour round trip to collect $135.00. Instead of mailing a request for the money, which would have been in their hands within 3 days. They really are "strange" as my friend put it. They are also incredibly dumb. I am sure that deputies time (3 hours) and the transportation costs were more than $135.00. At 8:00am monday morning: they are qoing to think they're ahead on this one (SERIOUSLY!).
With the highest dropout rates, teenage pregnancies, and number of raided meth labs in the state, It makes you wonder at times, so often, that only one conclusion offers closure: THESE ARE THE KIND OF PEOPLE WHO VOTED FOR BUSH! almost every car I saw still had multiple "Bush/Cheney" campaign stickers on them. One car had about 20 of them!
There was a brother and sister from AL who went on the "Jerry Springer Show" who admitted on national TV that they were living together as husband and wife! Guess where they were from in AL? I'll give you one hint: The name of the county they resided in is in this post. Nooooo...........you can't use your "lifeline" for this toughie!
I once lived for 10 years in rural South Carolin.......nearest paved road was 5 miles away. There were two small communities nearby. Here's the kicker: everyone in one community had the same surname "Jones", the other was "Brown" (names have been changed for obvious reasons). The police dare not enter those 2 communities, they are afraid to. Almost fergot: they have a "Hatfield/McCoy" "relationship". A number of killings went unreported! One guy who was charged got 3 years for an execution type slaying!
If you.ve seen the movie "Deliverance": There really are people like that. I lived in that area. The "retard" on the bridge has a bluegrass band that plays one of the local nightspots on the weekends. I learned to leave that clup at 10:00pm. Usually around 11:00 there would be a drunken brawl. Anyway: around 10:00pm the band was so inebriated, they weren't doing much more than making noise, at a much higher vloume. This is also the area where Susan Smith drowned her children. The movie "Chiefs" was filmed on the next street over from my house. We had decided to move to town because of the harassment we got because my name is not one of theirs, out in the sticks. Some of the incidents portrayed in the movie "chiefs" actually happened there!
Anyway: Back to "The Media": It's not always the reporters interpritation that is presented. Don't blame the reporter unless it's obvious that he is "one of them". The blame lies squarely on the Government, and: the purchased and cowed executives.

I had to set up an "account". They do not charge your phone bill. Their charge: including an $8.00 "connection fee is $33.00 for a 15 minute call. If you don't have a credit card: you are out of luck!
IF they let her try again: I will have to recite a 14 didgit "code" before I am connected. Under normal circumstances a call from my home phone would be less than $1.00!
I called the jail and told them what happened, and asked them if they would let her try again. He said "We're too busy"

scooter, my advise for you to go see a minister of a church, or your pastor of the church you attend, and ask for his help here. Tell him the plight you are in and he may ask a biased attorney to guide you on this matter..

While sitting here collecting my thoughts I realize it's now 7:30 and still no call.They did lie again.
I am now beginning to think the jailer who told me to go to the magistrates office and pay the costs related to her charge of "failure to pay $135.00 in court costs"
It is now 8:45pm and still no call.......those lying ..........

This is the culmination of my experiences with a corupt county in Alabama.
The following letter has gone out to many human rights groups, a local TV station that wants to be kept updated on my progress, the "Today show", the "november Coalition", the ACLU etc. to name a few.
Jack Dalton called me tonight and said I have a good story to tell. He said I "have a tiger by the tail" on this one.
Any help or suggestions you have will be valued. My wife has agreed that I may answer any questions you may have in this issue.
Jack is very sick. Please pray for his recovery. He could barely talk but was so excited at what I have to say; he couldn't resist making the call.
Without further ado: here is the text of my letter that has been read by thousands in it's first day of publication. Perhaps there is something of value here for some of the members. Just remember: The internet is a very powerful tool. One person really can make a difference. I have already done so on a number of issues. So: hang in there and never give up!
The text of what I have sent out to the ACLU, the "Today" show, "Ophra Winfrey", the news team at ch 19 who requested updates and "November Coalition" at Jacks suggestion are only a few of the many I have been busy contacting one at a time for over 14 hours so far today.
I will be busy at the keyboard again tomorrow and be printing hard copy to mail to certain governmental agencies as well.
Call me "paranoid" if you like, but: I feel safer in the knowledge that my story is known by as many people as possible before the governmental agencies here in Alabama. As i am talking about huge amounts of money and corruption in alabama that many politicos are willing to kill for.

RE: Arrest of Faye Price and possible unlawful detention in the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL for a debt, also: possible violations of due process, official incompetence, corruption, cruel and unusual punishment, slander, obstruction of justice, conduct unbecoming an officer/s of the court, misleading lawful media inquiries, and purposely denying access to due process by her lawful husband Kim Smith, by a deliberate refusal to show pertinent information that is public record.
To whom It may concern:
You are not the only recepient of this letter. Copies are going out to every government agency, civil rights organizations, and media outlets who may have an interest in this matter. If you're not doing your job as described in your official job description. You'd better start cleaning up your act and train those whom you purposely neglected to properly train.
The case is as follows:
Case: CC 1990 000275.00 JID: APR Batch 2005111
This case was heard in the Lawrence County Courthouse, Moulton AL. sometime in March of 1990. I have been unable to obtain the exact date.
Faye Price plead guilty to Criminal Neglegent Homicide, and was sentenced to 12 months, which; was reduced to 8 months 6 days for good behaviour, incarceration in the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL. and 4 months supervised probation under the guidance of a Mr. Max Sanders. Though irrevelent: The victims mother begged the court not to incarcerate Faye Price. After her release; Faye Price lived with the victims mother and cared for her needs when her health declined and stayed with her till the end of her natural life. In fact: the victims brother and wife took Faye Price into their home for 6 months in 2000 after the death of their mother when Faye Price became homeless upon the death of their mother.
On Friday, March 18, 2005 during a routine traffic stop by the Madison County, AL police; an "NCIC" check revealed a warrant for: "Failure to pay $135.00 court costs on Criminal Neglegent Homicide". I ran a criminal background check on Faye Price at state and national levels and found nothing thru an internet based service I had relied on before in other matters..
At the end of her probation, nor anytime during her probation: Faye price was never advised of this $135.00 outstanding debt.
Fay Price's whereabouts have always been a matter of public record. Most recently with the IRS when we began co-habitating in 2002 and again on Apr 25, 2003 when we were lawfully married by Judge Breeland in the Morgan County Courthouse in Decatur AL.
NO attempt was ever made to notify Faye Price of this debt. In MY humble Opinion: due process was denied by the fact that a warrant was issued without any reasonable attempt to contact Faye Price in this matter.
When Faye Price called me from the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL. The Phone was taken away from her less than 2 minutes into our call which left me without a clue as to the nature of her charges..
I went to the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL on Saturday morning March 19, 2005. to inquire about the charges against my wife. I asked what the charges were: They refused to tell me. I asked what means I had at my disposal to rectify the situation: They refused to tell me anything. I asked where the Courthouse was: They refused to tell me. I requested to put $10.00 "on the book" for use of the vending machines which are available to the inmates. They refused to let me do that. There was a uniformed Deputy present at this time who refused to talk with me. When I tried to get his attention, he wouldn't even look me in the eye, became agitated, and was apparently "itching for a fight".
No written copy of this warrant was ever shown to Faye Price or the Madison County, AL police who transferred Faye Price into the custody of another law enforcement official for transport to the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL.
I imediately began calling family and notified the media at Ch 19 News here in Huntsville AL. They told Dianna Gee the bureau chief of the area where Faye Price Was being held for "Failure to pay $135.00 court costs for Criminal Neglegent Homicide" and "Criminal Trespass".
It was verified by telephone calls made by her siblings that the only charge was "Failure to pay $135.00 court costs for Criminal Neglegent Homicide". A further question about the "Criminal Trespass" charge revealed no such charge. However: They told one of my Brothers-in-law that she was being held for "homocide" with no further explanation.
I went to the Lawrence County Courthouse, Moulton AL. on Monday morning March 21, 2005 at 8:05:27am and paid the court $135.75 and secured the release of Faye Price, and again verified that there was no warrant for "criminal trespass".
The Lawrence County Sheriffs Department, Moulton AL purposely attempted to deny me due process in obtaining the release of Faye Price. Their intention was to take advantage of a perceived ignorance of the rights of Faye Price and myself; Kim Smith by letting the charge of "Failure to pay $135.00 court costs for Criminal neglegent Homicide" go before a judge so that additional court costs would be levied against Faye Price.
This incident; in my understanding made the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL a DEBTORS PRISON for all practical purposes. My treatment while attempting to secure the release of Faye Price was a brazen act of extortion, malice and denial of due process by withholding information.
Even though the statute of limitations has run out. I wish to pass along the treatment Faye Price experienced at the hands of certain jailers at the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL during her 8 month, 6 day incarceration.: She was subjected to unsupervised "Body Cavity Searches" by certain male jailers on a routine basis. Certain male jailers and certain male "trustees" made a point of watching the female detainees use the toilet. At one time one of the jailers exposed himself to Faye Price. The staff also arranged for male "audiences" to watch the female detainees bathe. I also suspect that Faye Price was sexually assaulted by at least one male jailer in the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton, AL during her 8 month 6 day incarceration. At times there were as many as 10 female detainees in a standard 2 person cell which was a mix of violent and non-violent offenders.
I had the opportunity to speak with a female employee who I believe is some sort of an administrator at the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL. Her name is "Kim". I informed her with my concerns and my complaint about the treatment I received at the hands of the staff on duty on March 19, 2005. She appeared to be apalled at the treatment I received and informed me that I had every right to the knowledge posessed by the staff which they refused to disclose to me. She said: "I have problems with that shift", "I can't find good help". She also indicated that she would be filing a formal complaint with the Sheriff. At this point: I do not believe or have faith that the Lawrence County Sheriffs Department is willing to address any demand for a redress of grievence from an injured party. I am a diabetic and this experience caused me physical harm. I lost 15 pounds during that weekend and my glucose level went into potentially life threatining levels. I have been able to maintain a level in the 130's. By Saturday night my glucose level was 760. The stress inflicted upon me was intentional and unavoidable if the staff at the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL had been honest and open about my wifes situation and the remidies available.
Upon the release of Faye Smith on the morning of March 21, 2005, I learned that the detainees were never locked down at night. The cell doors remained open at all times which is a grave breach of security and a safety issue concerning those being held in the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL. Upon her release: Faye Price was requested to close her cell door. My concern with the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL. is that: one day they will close the door when it is too late to prevent a needless injury or death.
There are also other security issues in the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL which must be addressed. There are no metal detectors. I came into contact with 2 trustees in an unobserved location within the compound where I could have delivered contraband materials if that were my intention.
There are also grave security issues in the Lawrence County Courthouse I observed while there: The lone Sheriffs Deputy on duty let 3 people pass thru the metal detector who set the alarm off without challenge. I did have someone with me at the court house in Lawrence County, Moulton AL who is willing to sign a sworn affadavit, should the need arise, about this security situation in the Lawrence County Courthouse, Moulton AL.
On Saturday March 19, 2005 Faye Price attempted to call me from the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL
On her first attempt I was connected with a representative of "Correctional Billing Services/Everham" to set up an "account". The "membership" fee to open the account was $50.00. I explained that there would only be one call needed because Faye Price would be released on Monday, March 21, 2005. The representative gave me a special "membership fee" of $25.00 that could be used on a telephone call from the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL. The representative explained that part of the call would include a "connection fee" of $8.00. And that a 15 minute call would be $33.00. From where we live; the price of a 15 minute call would be less than $1.00.
I researched various companies that offer those same services and found the majority of those service providers were charging less than one third of what "Correctional billing Services/Everham" charge.
"Correctional billing Services" at P.O. Box 1010, Selma AL 36702 has staked out a monopoly in AL which purposely causes undue financial hardships on the families who can not afford those obscene rates.
I believe there is corruption, conflict of interest, and a criminal conspiracy involving "Correctional Billing Services" and unknown state employees in the State of Alabama.
My wife made 3 or 4 attempts to call home and none of the calls went thru.
I attempted to call their "customer service" department to tell them their "services" were no longer needed and the fact that their "service" does not even work. There is a computer generated menu of various options for putting more money on accounts and such. However: There are no options to dispute charges, or obtain a credit for unused calling time. They insist on using your credit card for charges. Something the families of the majority of inmates do not have. This fact effectively denies inmates any sort of communication with their loved ones. I believe this practice is cruel and unusual punishment knowingly perpetrated by a third party.
There is also no choice in their telephone menu to speak with "customer service".
I have e-mailed them to demand a refund, and also Mailed a demand via the USPS for a refund for a service that did not work.
My attempts at communicating with this predatory "service provider" have gone unanswered.
Someone in AL is unlawfully lining their pockets with kickbacks and bribes by purposely denying access to the service providers who are just as effective in delivering the type of service that is inherently needed to protect other people from the obvious threats some inmates pose, at a much lower cost.
That is "Collective punishment" by the fact that a predatory monopoly exists in AL. It is also "cruel and unusual punishment" to victimize the families of those who are incarcerated in the State of Alabama.
I also believe that this kind of behaviour by officaldom towards those who are incarcerated presents a "justification" for further criminal activity when they are released as they find ways to "get even". I don't blame them!
We are but one of millions who are victims of the most corrupt state in our nation's history. If our story helps but one other person. The days and hours I have devoted to this writing will not have been in vain.
Up to this time I have been an active supporter of the "FOP" and the fund for widows and orphans of those who die in the line of duty, when I had the money to donate. After this: THEY WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER DIME FROM ME OR MY FAMILY. I have lost all respect and trust for "law enforcement" and the so-called "criminal justice system" we are oppressed by wether convicted of a crime or not.

The case is as follows:
Case: CC 1990 000275.00 JID: APR Batch 2005111
This case was heard in the Lawrence County Courthouse, Moulton AL. sometime in March of 1990. I have been unable to obtain the exact date.
Faye Price plead guilty to Criminal Neglegent Homicide, and was sentenced to 12 months, which; was reduced to 8 months 6 days for good behaviour, incarceration in the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL. and 4 months supervised probation under the guidance of a Mr. Max Sanders. Though irrevelent: The victims mother begged the court not to incarcerate Faye Price. After her release; Faye Price lived with the victims mother and cared for her needs when her health declined and stayed with her till the end of her natural life. In fact: the victims brother and wife took Faye Price into their home for 6 months in 2000 after the death of their mother when Faye Price became homeless upon the death of their mother.
On Friday, March 18, 2005 during a routine traffic stop by the Madison County, AL police; an "NCIC" check revealed a warrant for: "Failure to pay $135.00 court costs on Criminal Neglegent Homicide". I ran a criminal background check on Faye Price at state and national levels and found nothing thru an internet based service I had relied on before in other matters..
At the end of her probation, nor anytime during her probation: Faye price was never advised of this $135.00 outstanding debt.
Fay Price's whereabouts have always been a matter of public record. Most recently with the IRS when we began co-habitating in 2002 and again on Apr 25, 2003 when we were lawfully married by Judge Breeland in the Morgan County Courthouse in Decatur AL.
NO attempt was ever made to notify Faye Price of this debt. In MY humble Opinion: due process was denied by the fact that a warrant was issued without any reasonable attempt to contact Faye Price in this matter.
When Faye Price called me from the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL. The Phone was taken away from her less than 2 minutes into our call which left me without a clue as to the nature of her charges..
I went to the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL on Saturday morning March 19, 2005. to inquire about the charges against my wife. I asked what the charges were: They refused to tell me. I asked what means I had at my disposal to rectify the situation: They refused to tell me anything. I asked where the Courthouse was: They refused to tell me. I requested to put $10.00 "on the book" for use of the vending machines which are available to the inmates. They refused to let me do that. There was a uniformed Deputy present at this time who refused to talk with me. When I tried to get his attention, he wouldn't even look me in the eye, became agitated, and was apparently "itching for a fight".
No written copy of this warrant was ever shown to Faye Price or the Madison County, AL police who transferred Faye Price into the custody of another law enforcement official for transport to the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL.
I imediately began calling family and notified the media at Ch 19 News here in Huntsville AL. They told Dianna Gee the bureau chief of the area where Faye Price Was being held for "Failure to pay $135.00 court costs for Criminal Neglegent Homicide" and "Criminal Trespass".
It was verified by telephone calls made by her siblings that the only charge was "Failure to pay $135.00 court costs for Criminal Neglegent Homicide". A further question about the "Criminal Trespass" charge revealed no such charge. However: They told one of my Brothers-in-law that she was being held for "homocide" with no further explanation.
I went to the Lawrence County Courthouse, Moulton AL. on Monday morning March 21, 2005 at 8:05:27am and paid the court $135.75 and secured the release of Faye Price, and again verified that there was no warrant for "criminal trespass".
The Lawrence County Sheriffs Department, Moulton AL purposely attempted to deny me due process in obtaining the release of Faye Price. Their intention was to take advantage of a perceived ignorance of the rights of Faye Price and myself; Kim Smith by letting the charge of "Failure to pay $135.00 court costs for Criminal neglegent Homicide" go before a judge so that additional court costs would be levied against Faye Price.
This incident; in my understanding made the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL a DEBTORS PRISON for all practical purposes. My treatment while attempting to secure the release of Faye Price was a brazen act of extortion, malice and denial of due process by withholding information.
Even though the statute of limitations has run out. I wish to pass along the treatment Faye Price experienced at the hands of certain jailers at the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL during her 8 month, 6 day incarceration.: She was subjected to unsupervised "Body Cavity Searches" by certain male jailers on a routine basis. Certain male jailers and certain male "trustees" made a point of watching the female detainees use the toilet. At one time one of the jailers exposed himself to Faye Price. The staff also arranged for male "audiences" to watch the female detainees bathe. I also suspect that Faye Price was sexually assaulted by at least one male jailer in the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton, AL during her 8 month 6 day incarceration. At times there were as many as 10 female detainees in a standard 2 person cell which was a mix of violent and non-violent offenders.
I had the opportunity to speak with a female employee who I believe is some sort of an administrator at the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL. Her name is "Kim". I informed her with my concerns and my complaint about the treatment I received at the hands of the staff on duty on March 19, 2005. She appeared to be apalled at the treatment I received and informed me that I had every right to the knowledge posessed by the staff which they refused to disclose to me. She said: "I have problems with that shift", "I can't find good help". She also indicated that she would be filing a formal complaint with the Sheriff. At this point: I do not believe or have faith that the Lawrence County Sheriffs Department is willing to address any demand for a redress of grievence from an injured party. I am a diabetic and this experience caused me physical harm. I lost 15 pounds during that weekend and my glucose level went into potentially life threatining levels. I have been able to maintain a level in the 130's. By Saturday night my glucose level was 760. The stress inflicted upon me was intentional and unavoidable if the staff at the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL had been honest and open about my wifes situation and the remidies available.
Upon the release of Faye Smith on the morning of March 21, 2005, I learned that the detainees were never locked down at night. The cell doors remained open at all times which is a grave breach of security and a safety issue concerning those being held in the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL. Upon her release: Faye Price was requested to close her cell door. My concern with the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL. is that: one day they will close the door when it is too late to prevent a needless injury or death.
There are also other security issues in the Lawrence County Jail, Moulton AL which must be addressed. There are no metal detectors. I came into contact with 2 trustees in an unobserved location within the compound where I could have delivered contraband materials if that were my intention.

The wheels sure do turn slowly. I notified just about every government agency; national and state including my congressman "Bud Cramer" and "Gov. Reilly" (a freeper).
I got my charge card credited for what they tried to bilk me out of. I'm not thru with them yet. I'm trying to contact as many potential competitors as I can find. Considering that they have ben locked out by the state government which has created a monopoly for this company. The others may want a piece of this pie. Hopefully: the others may take some action to do so by taking these parasites to the FTC. I copied the e-mail I finally got thru by using one of their links that requested info on rates, and pasted my message in the dialog box. So; here is my e-mail. Had I not found this workaround and just given up: those frepers would have kept my money.

$33.00 for a 15 minute call that would only cost me less than $1.00 is
obscene.
Your "service" prevents 80% of the inmate population from having any
contact with their own families.
Your monopolistic predatory business model is a contributing factor to the
recitivisim rate due to the isolation these prohibitive costs inflict on
the poor families who do not have the means to pay these obscene rates.
Your telephone contact number provides no means of speaking with a
representative when a refund is in order, nor do any of the menu choices
provide a means of seeking a refund. Most of the people your "service"
victimizes do not have computers to contact you. Your "service" is
apparently set up to discourage the request for a refund.
That fact is patently immoral and reprehensible.
I demand that my mastercard account be credited for the $25.00 you charged
me for a worthless service I no longer need.
I promise you that thousands of people will be reading this as well. Also:
further action WILL be taken to cause as much damage to the reputation of
your "service" as I can do in a lawful manner.

This is my 8th attempt to contact you thieves. I have now involved the
DOJ, news media and various web blogs that collectively have over 1
million readers.
All of this information has been forwarded to the "DOJ" the Governer of
Alabama, the "IRS", and the ACLU as I smell a rat in the guise of kick
back and corruption in this matter.
Your business model makes me sick. I intend to drive you out of business
if your pricing model does not come within national norms and I get my
