I find it kind of strange that i have never seen a mccain bumper sticker. I live in a hardcore republican area but i haven't seen any mccain bumper stickers or lawn signs. I have seen plenty of Obama stickers and signs but nothing for McCain. What is strange is that in 2004, the Bush/Cheney stickers and signs were everywhere. Some guy down the street had a Bush/Cheney sign that was probably 10ft X 6ft in his yard. Yet in 2008, no McCain signs to be found. I wonder why?

I work in Kentucky, so yes I've seen the occassional McCain bumper sticker, but not nearly as many as Obama.

When the Democratic primary season was still in full swing I observed I never NEVER saw a Hillary bumper sticker. Not one. Oddly, since Obama clinched it I have seen a couple...

NO! - On both counts.
Peculiar it is! huh.gif

I have one of each on my truck.

The McCain sticker comes from Move-on and says, "Bush's third term, McCain"

However, no, I have seen no McCain bumper stickers, or yard signs, or buttons, or anything.
Though Obama is everywhere!

It's still early yet...
can't really print stereotypical bumperstickers untill the running mate is announced.

Also, you have to realize that there won't be many given out for free unless you're in a contested state.

I already have an Obama sticker on my car. And no, haven't seen a McCain sticker yet. But then again, I do live in California and spend most of my time near a university. Not exactly a red district.

This election has of yet not produced the tidal wave of conservative emotion. Maybe its early. Maybe its apathy. Dunno. And maybe....us Republicans are sitting back and wondering....what the f*ck?

This election bothers me for many reasons. Very unconvinced that Obama is the right guy. Equally unconvinced that McCain is the right guy. All of the runners and this is the final choice? Wow...speaking as a historical Republican....maybe we just didnt want to spend money on something we see as a losing cause.

Maybe it's because this is a change year, and that change is distinctly AWAY from conservatism, and you conservatives as of yet don't know what to think or do because it hasn't yet jelled into something you can point at?

Maybe it's because secretly you conservatives actually want this change, because you haveto admit, so far extreme conservatism hasn't worked. In fact, on every account it's been an utter disaster?

Maybe it's because McCain is the very best y'all could come up with, and he simply sucks. So the best thing to do is to just keep yer heads down and shut the hell up till all this liberal sh*t blows over?

As far as Obama being the right guy? Suck on it for 8 years ok? Therer's no way he can be any worse than GWB whom the conservatives loved. (up to about 2 years ago, many were convinced he actually talked to god)

That's twice you said that in one day.

rolleyes.gif I have not seen one McCain Bumper sticker, I know Denver City itself is a Democratic town for the most part, but the Western and Southern surburbs are Republican to the core and alot of traffic comes into town from those area's. I do see lots of Obama sticker's and signs in people's yards. In 04 there were lots of Republican signs. It is odd that this year the Republican's are almost silent, except on some of the more active websites, like Politico.com. Even there though, its the same few Republican voices, hardly what I would call a groundswell of support.

I am in southwest Illinois right across the Mississippi from St. Louis, MO. Obviously I see a lot of OBama stickers and window signs in home and businesses, but I have also seen more Hillary signs and stickers than McCain. In fact, I have not seen one McCain sticker at all.

This is odd. If you read the Belleville News-Democrat editorial page, or even the front page, you would think Belleville is a town of 45,000 frothing at the mouth, right wing, GOP, Bushbot, dittoheads. Strange how reality on the street isn't the same as in that rag.

Another reason I read the St. Louis Post-Dispatch thumbup.gif
