OffTheBus Listening Post
In another creative innovation on campaign reporting, HuffPost's OffTheBus has launched a new feature in which the daily Obama and McCain media conference calls, heretofore the exclusive province of the credentialed media, are now recorded and uploaded so everyone can hear firsthand how the presidential contenders are trying to play the press. If you want to start listening in you can receive e-mail alerts about new uploads; Subscribe to the OffTheBus Listening Post podcast or check the OffTheBus Listening Post Homepage for a full archive of recordings.

I signed up for the alerts. Should be interesting to hear/read.

One caution. It's politics. OF COURSE both sides attempt to manipulate the press. So does Coka Cola and McDonalds and anyone trying to sell something. This is nothing new, and to be expected.

really? I thought this was the word of God!
just messing around...
I just figured it would be interesting, and provide for one less filter (the MSM) in political news. I'd rather here it from them than the pundits trying to sell their broadcasts through covering the pieces with the most shock value.

I might be your god, but that doesn't mean I'm god. (pwned)

Yeah, seeing behind the curtain is always interesting and informative.
