Obama's average lead over mccain in head to head, national match ups has grown to its largest amount ever, at 6.8 points. This beats his previous record of about 6 points back in early march . Also mccain is at his lowest standing in head to head polls with obama since the polls were first being conducted about 6 months ago and obama just barely squeaks out his highest level of support ever, at 48.2% to mccains 41.4%. It may be too early to celebrate but obama is going up, mccain is going down, my caution optimism is beginning to develop into full blown excitement
