According to this article, obama's massive nation wide operations will be ready to go in just a few weeks. He will have staffers running volunteer efforts, such as voter registration, in all 50 states by July 4th. He is also planning to implement an unprecedented 25 state advertising campaign, is working with Howard Dean's 50 state operations, has new voter ID tools thanks to the DNC and Harold Ickes. Also at this point, Obama has 1.5 million small donors that are no where near tapped out and is expected to raise $75 million in the next few weeks from clinton donors. He is expected to raise enough money to compete in any state he wants.

And now you can see why he didn't want to go with a publicly financed campaign.

I would say it looks like a democratic presidential candidate finally knows what he is doing. I don't know if it is obama but someone in that campaign appears to be a brilliant tactician.

Again I have long said, it's not that you have to know everything, but how you aquire knowledge when you need it.
In this case, it's not that he needs to know all about everything, he needs to know which people to put on the team.

Seems to be doing very well.

Compare this with Bush cronyism.
Oh yeah, change is coming!

I have interviewed and hired many people. The best people I hired were not hired based on their experience; they were hired based on their intelligence and their perceived ability to accomplish the task they were interviewed for. If they needed to have the ability to know how to put people in that know how to get done what needed to get done, I hired them for that job. In essence experience does not equal ability for specialized tasks, one does not need to know the task, only that the person doing the task is good at it and doing well. Crony-ism does not work.

The other day a friend who voted for Bush twice but has since been educated, sent me an email about McCain blasting O'bama's energy policy. My firend said he was worried with stuff like this coming out. He had not seen a response from Obama's camp. I told him to sit tight and wait for Obama's campaign to kick in, and have faith.

It looks like I advised my friend appropriately.
