In case you have never seen one, here is a good example from Rasmussen Reports

"In order to reduce the price of gas, should drilling be allowed in offshore oil wells off the coasts of California, Florida, and other states?"

Yes-67%
No-18%

I wonder if the astronomically high support for this, a total reversal from just a few years ago, has something to do with that little phrase at the beginning, "in order to reduce the price of gas...."
