The Associated Press, one of the nation’s largest news organizations, said that it will, for the first time, attempt to define clear standards as to how much of its articles and broadcasts bloggers and Web sites can excerpt without infringing on The A.P.’s copyright.

Other forums already practice just posting part of an article, with link, so as to avoid contravening the 'fair use' laws.
Can't say I like it very much, but I could live with it.

What I was thinking about, was avoiding any undue attention and or heat on TJ so that he can focus on the important things. But then, TJ himself hasn't made it forum policy, so I'm not sure. Maybe forums aren't subject to these rules?

The rules my apply differently to a forum.
A blog is generally greated by just one person. A forum is a collection of people posting.
