Well folks, it looks like something is brewing in the mainstream media lately. We got something of an escalating war of words between MsNBC, Fox "News", and CNN, as well as a few smaller organizations getting caught up in the fighting. It is all getting quite interesting and i am curious where this is going.

MsNBC Attacks Fox Over "Terrorist Fist Jab" Comment, Attacks CNN For Asking a Pro-Clinton 13 Year Old Who She Is Going To Vote For

Olbermann Overtakes O'Reilly For First Time In Ratings

CNN Attacks MsNBC and Fox For Having Political Agendas, MsNBC Claims CNN is Out of Touch

New York Post Claims Olbermann's Show Being On the TV at Gyms Is 10th Biggest Complaint In New York Rec Facilities

Fox Attempts To Ambush Bill Moyers

This is fun isn't it?
guess they figured out that beating eachother with bricks on the air and in print = ratings...

here's a fox/WH/MSNBC batlle primer from huffpo

kinda happy I don't do TV anymore.

Nothing mysterious about any of it.

The Bottom Line.

If the competitor has something that successful, hack it down and try to marginalize it.
If the competitor is more accurate than you, hack it down and try to marginalize it.
If the competitor creates an opportunity for you to hack it down and marginalize it, then hack it down and marginalize it.

Why?

There are only a limited number of viewers, and the greater any one stations viewer ratings, the more money they stand to make.

The bottom line.

Its not a war...least not a good one unless we see bodies, blood, teeth, and body parts. When it gets to that level, THEN...we call it a success.

As Long as they stick Michelle Malkin and Bill O'Reilly on the front lines such a war might be a good idea.

OK not really, but man those two bug me.

Oh hell no. If your going to have war with so many collective idiots, bullets are a must. And I would absolutely donate my land for it. Massacre at Sandy Creek....wow...that is good sh*t.
