Thanks guys. I really appreciate the enthusiasm. You know, it's funny.. you can see the effort i go through to get funding. 14,000 unique visitors a day and I'm lucky if I can get 5 people to kick in on any day during a fund drive. I don't blame them and i knew the odds going into this, but the apathy is disheartening at times.

Well don't get discouraged. I made the $45 contribution so you have your first $1000. I make use of this great website and blog and want to do my part and to get a Progressive like yourself into political office would be great!!! The Reich Wing have their think tanks and politicians and we will have to create our own. Nobody is going to do it for us.

If everyone visiting would just donate a few dollars to show support. Heck, the corporations are dumping millions into campaigns ran for full blown psychopaths. Let's get one sane progressive into political office. I think it will happen, but it will take time however.

I'll donate as well but it will have to be in June after the 6th, thats payday. Anything to beat the republicans, also will give to Udall's campaign he officially placed himself in nomination. thumbup.gif

Yeah you can! dry.gif

laugh.gif Just Kidding! Sorry! laugh.gif

Now, you know I can't kick into this campaign - only McShame is allowed contributions from foreigners, but I can help the POAC out this week. (Gonna have to be by the same method as the last couple of donations Teej. Sorry you have to wait a little while to receive what I put in. I'll be fixing that little complication in the next week or so.)

Thank you Guys!

Now let's spread the word and work on the NEXT Grand Accomplishment!

I just mailed a check today. Better late than never. I started my own business several months ago, and I have now officially donated more to TJ than I have paid myself YTD.

I also hope that really changes soon. Don't hurt yourself for my campaign.

TJ, I've been struggling to send something off to the POAC for a couple of weeks now. Sorry, but you'll have to wait just one more week!
The donation will be there, just a little later than expected! redface.gif

Thanks!

Don't worry! I made sure it wouldn't hurt before I sent it! Pulled a quarter out of my piggy bank and threw it in the mail. It should be OK. wink.gif

I just sent $100, half from you and half from me. Do NOT struggle and/or send dough. smile.gif You're a wonderful participant on this forum and much appreciated. I would only have spent it on a slutty pair of shoes anyway. wink.gif (I'm a shoe ho...yes, I need an intervention)

Wow! That is so generous!!! I'm overwhelmed! And using far too many exclaimation (sp?) marks (points)!! eek.gif
Thank you Panda! That was a very kind thing to do! cool.gif

Might just send TJ a birthday present now that my POAC donation has been taken care of. biggrin.gif
(That guy has more birthdays than the queen! rolleyes.gif ) wink.gif

No about that shoe thing you have going on: By way of an over-seas intervention, may I suggest you count your feet next time you feel the urge to splurge? thumbup.gif Count your feet, then count your shoes... that should do the trick! wink.gif laugh.gif

POAC
Thanks ladies. The money I'm getting from online supporters like yourselves is currently going towards sending out donation requests. Hopefully I'll be turning your donations into even more donations. Again, I can't say this enough, thank you so very very much.

I have been coming here a few weeks now. I just don't see how we are going to change things in Washington unless we get leadership in there that is not sold out to big business. It seems the only way to do that is for all us pissed off little people to throw a little cash toward the effort.

Protesting doesn't do a damn thing, writing your congress is about as good as passing a note in a college class, and the only people that seem to be a viable option come voting time are already bought.

I have made it a habit to give to organizations and initiatives like this. O'bama will be getting some of my cash as well. Smirking chimp, code pink, moveon.org, all have received donations.
