You need to prominently state that you're the candidate for the Democrat Party on your home page. Making people go find such gives them the impression you're not proud to be such and makes them wonder why.

Your education (or lack thereof) needs preventative explanation. High school grad and a college dropout (that's how it will be spun) isn't something you can relatively ignore (by not bothering to mention it in your bio) because your opponent WILL use such as a means to suggest that your lack of education and your relatively sparse employment credentials do not suggest you should be trusted with representing the interests of the people of the 3rd District (capitalized, BTW). That's what will happen...you should start thinking now how to put a decent spin on it. You mention you know "what it's like to live from paycheck to paycheck while trying to afford healthcare"...but likely, so to does your opponent...who apparently also can speak from the employer side of the equation as well.

Where you can, you should link to statements you're claiming your opponent has made. Things like "Mr. Soderberg has gone on the record as stating that he wouldn't vote for..." should be a hyperlink to such statements. You may have your own ideas and positions...but your very first reason for running is because your opponent would get the seat by acclamation. In essence, your the "other guy"...the anti-Soderberg. If that's going to be something to hang your hat on and you truly believe he's made statements that leaves him vulnerable...link them for folks. Gives the impression of honesty and transparency. Let folks see for themselves if you believe his statements are so damning.

Your FAQ...do away with it or add more "Q"s to it. One self-serving question doesn't make an FAQ. My suggestion: name an issue and then explain in 3 sentences or less what your position is on it. List things like "the war on Terror", "Iraq", "price of oil", "global warming", "gun control", etc... Make it easy for people to discern what you're for and against.

Just my 2c.

that's good advice.

Yeah, there's a lot of good advice in that thread. I'll be combing through it this afternoon.
