Hillary Clinton has been endorsed by Elton John.
If you're an Obama supporter, you can say Elton John is not American -- un-American, lol -- and discount his endorsement and, furthermore, label Hillary un-American by association.
If you're a Clinton supporter, you can say Bruce Springsteen's endorsement of Obama is nugatory because he wrote "Born To Run" for Wendy, not Barack.
Let this be a lesson to all politicians. Be wary of pop stars bearing endorsements, among other things. (Or as Janet Jackson would say, a wardrobe malfunction.)
