I sent a family member the youtube of Obama's latest reply to Clintons latest attack.
She wrote back with this.....

QUOTE
I don't like him, his wife or his preacher. Did you hear the quote from his wife last week? " I've never been proud of my country my whole adult life." Yeah. AND...I like my guns and my church.

My short reply....

QUOTE
I believe your quote is taken out of context. I'll see if I can turn something up.

BTW, I am a Clark County Deligate for Obama.
I'll be kind though and not send you any Obama information.
(fyi: nearly 65% of Americans expect he'll be our next president)

Can anybody provide any information on these accusations?
specifically the part about his wife's quote. The rest isn't really something that can be responded too. She's a "born again" and as one might guess, quite defensive about the decision. She's like an ex-smoker towards people who still smoke (sinners)

You know....Im not a huge supprter of his however, his wife's exact words were some different when in context of adding in what she was talking about. Now, if "I", a died in the wool right wing idiot can see what she meant, how in the world could the average Joe...or Josephine accept it as is. Her comment was pretty readable and understandable when you look at the entire speech.

As for his preacher, who gives a rats arse what his preacher said. He is a shock preacher and probably a racist to begin with...doesnt mean Obama is.

Man, people HAVE to grab reality once in awhile and think through this sh*t cause if they believe all the bullsh*t hype on politics and papers how thee hell do they make any kind of informed decision?

Good luck with that.

No she didn't. "For the first time in my adult lifetime I'm really proud of my country".

What to tell a wing-nut about this? Hell, I don't know. I'd tell them they aren't voting for Obama's wife or his pastor and to quit paying attention to what people linked to Obama said and to what Obama said. But that won't work with these people. I'd save your breath.

Thanks Boss! That's what I was looking for! thumbup.gif

Here's the reply.....

As I said, the words you quoted were taken out of context.

Unfortunately, they're also quite wrong.

Be informed with the truth.

No one is asked to vote for Obama's wife or his pastor, people should quit paying attention to what people linked to Obama has said,
and instead pay much closer attention to what Obama says.

That is, if you're truly interested in the truth.
