Wondering if one of you could help me. I'm looking for music that is free to use as background music for some youtubes. I'm peeking around Creative Commons, but not navigating it too well. I'm also doing several things at once while doing this and hoping maybe is some of you have so free time if you'd see what you could find for me on the web. Just thought maybe I could tap the resources here without drawing too much mockery and ire. ph34r.gif

edit to add: Instrumentals would be great!

How about classical guitar? I recorded this song last July "A Day In November" written by Leo Brouwer . Played on a Spanish Classical guitar by me. No charge. I sent via email. If it's appropriate, I can send some more.

Also, Trois Gnossiennes No 3 by Eric Satie (1893). I recorded this last January (5 MB mp3 format). A separate email for this song.

Hey! I just remembered.

Suess either plays in a band, or is closely associated with one.
Ask him if he and the group would be willing to play you something, and if they'd do it for the credits?

Just found this site (freeplaymusic.com) and looked at their 'terms and conditions of use'. Here's the relevant section:

Karen, Think sex. Thing really good, inspirational sex.

You want something that starts out slow and steady, and over time builds in intensity, and finally ends with every instrument filling the air with sound. And then a quick quiet down to go off and smoke a cigarette!

get a bittorrent client, like utorrent -

then go to:
www.tradersden.org

www.bt.etree.org

plenty of legal, free, live music.

who would you LOVE to have playing your background, instrumentally?

PM me, and I might be able to shoot over links or disks....

I'm not in a band, but I've spent plenty of time in the biz, and I'd be happy to help.
