My GF wants to buy some stock in a certain company, but they only trade on the Taiwan and London stock echanges. Anybody know the best way to buy foreign stocks in USA?

Somewhere like eTrade, or would a traditional broker be better?

This will be more of a long-term investment she wants, not something she wants to buy and dump in a few a months.

And just in case someone is going to bring up the ethics of investing is foreign companies and markets when our own contry seems to be faltering, I ckecked it with Dick Cheney and he said it was A-OK...

My guess would be to look on line, that there must be on line stock traders all over the world.
