I'm starting to think that maybe being
this involved in politics is not in my best interest. I'm not saying this just because obama lost ohio and probably texas. However, i think what those losses did was made me realize that i am spending far too much time following politics, sitting on the internet, instead of doing more important things. I have a ton of school work do at the end of the week and i wasted an entire night watching every update on election coverage, instead of doing anything for school. And for what? Disappointment. An entire day lost and that is going to be a big problem for me. Also staying up late reading about current events, instead of getting enough sleep. Watching shows like bill maher and SNL on the weekends instead of going out. Yes, politics and current events are important but i'm not sure it is that important. The thing i had been worried about, will obama win the nomination, i think question is settled. It won't be offical for awhile but i think at a practical level, it is over but unfortunately continues. Clearly spending inordinate amounts of time following every detail for the next month and a half won't change anything, so i won't. I won't necessarily be "gone" but not around as much.
So don't worry, i still love you guys (except sky

) but i have more important things to attend to.
Understood Jack.
It can be far too easy to get bogged down in the detail, too easy to forget that there is more to life. Politics is important, but so is living.
I hope you find the right balance for you, Jack.
Look forward to continuing to see you around.
