Dang...

I've got 4 cats. Are we cat people?

At one point, when I was a lad, we had 30 cats. Back then we had a barn and they kept the critters out of the feed. I used to upset my dad by inviting the friendly cats indoors.

Our dog, who has passed on, was very much brow beaten by the cats. ohmy.gif In a loving way of course. biggrin.gif

Nice pictures.

I got all of mine "repaired".

My young daughter would love to see kittens. But I think 4 is enough!

I'd do it, but females are to damn expensive...best to keep them indoors so they don't whore around.

three here, all altered... and here they be...

the fuzzy one is our eldest, she's gonna be 14 this month, the darker one on top of the box will be 3 next week and his half bro (same daddy) will be 3 next month...

They sure are cute.

We have all fixed lady cats. 8, 2-1/2, 2, 18 months.

The 3 young ones raise holy hell. The grand dame is too "dignified".

Oh boy did you leave yourself WIDE open.......the female cats "whore around" and not one Tom Cat in sight? My, my, lesbian kitties. ohmy.gif

If you now tell me you've had them de-clawed I'll have to hunt you down and hurt you.

You DO know the definition of a slut don't you?

None of them declawed man, I'd beat myself up too if I did that.

Only one would be considered a lesbian as far as I could tell. When my 4 yr old let in the neighbourhood male when she was in heat, she just beat the shit out of him (twice her size too). Although our other cat (slut) I had to drag away from him.

In the end, no one was knocked up. tongue.gif

Hahaha....blame it on the kids.
My favorite line:Although our other cat (slut) I had to drag away from him.
KILLJOY.

Actually one of my cats was eaten by a coyote. My son, a teen, was devastated that she had darted out when he came home that night. It wasn't his fault. She had no sense....Nightime=coyotes; daytime=resting, eating, looking at birds. She never got her timing down. I once had to pay a tree service to get her down out of a huge tree when she was chased by one in my back yard.....beautiful creatures with lovely long legs.....quick. She used up the last of her nine lives.
Nature's way.

I still have my little stealth hunter. She catches all moving creatures and carefully leaves the entrails for me as a gift. Hahaha.

The one in the foreground (fuzzy) looks like my old 15 year old cat who I had to put out of her misery before another winter took its toll on her. She had horrible arthritis in both back legs and had gone deaf. She would just meow loudly like she was in pain.....it was excruciating to watch. Hard choice. Tough vet's visit. But she had a good life and was treated regally.
At one time I had a total of eight. Down to one. Not enough. I believe in early spaying and neutering...Catalyst for Cats in my area helps with fees.

i've been in seattle and couldn't use the hotel online service- b/c my son (computer geek) has my puter all SAFE AS SHIT. sorry-

but loved to come home to the cute kitty photos- the drunk kitty looks just like kiko (one of the ktties who got shot by psychobitch neighbor). check out other thread_

have always had male cats... but now have two female cats because four year old daughter went with me to the animal shelter hoping to find two of the shot cats, and saw two SIMILAR LOOKING CATS and decided THOSE WERE OUR MISSING CATS so i brought them home... my daughter keeps saying 'mama, why do you keep calling kiko a 'her'?'

i got them fixed, but also had to get kitty abortion for one who had already been out whoring around before i got her...

but that is okay- this is a pro choice household! unfortunatley for preggers kitty, it was pro MY choice, not hers... which kinda sounds republican!!!

It's never an easy choice. The same was done with my 20yr old cat that I had since I was 9. Even after the stroke when he was 19 and became blind he stuck around for another year...until the dementia kicked in. Then you know there's no more pilot behind the wheel. Even then while blind, the German Shepard of ours still would not look him in the eye. Yes. Rusty knew where he belonged on the totem pole.
